Hot Hot Hot

 Kitties!  Going to be hot in the Southern States and thereabouts these next few days.  I think I will hug the cold blowy thingy. Lots of you in the CB will be going through that too.

Mom's been here with me all day.  She's been cleaning and shining the kitchen floor, cleaning and shining the bathroom, vacuuming and in general whirling around doing stuffs!  I will bet she will head out and get a few Krystals! I just heard her thinking "Rats!  I'd have to get dressed to go out!" So I'll see if she does and take that time to walk on the counters!  And I just realized!  I did NOT get treats this meowing!

Woe is Me??

 Kitties!  Mom went to the Big City today and exchanged MY beautiful Peacock blue chair for another on account it wouldn't stay down when Mom tried to recline on it.  

They will come and get it there 17th and leave me another.  This one is powered.  Up and Down...it has a charger too.  I could have had it re-upholstered  to that gorgeous blue but Mom and I...we can't stand another 5 weeks.  

Wanna see it?  And by the way it os VERY comfy.  And it's on feet, not that consarned rotating thingy so it can be moved into another direction.  It's stationary... softer in the seat than the Peacock one...and me and Mom can lie back.  

Mom and I will be comfy.

Peace Reigns

 Kitties!  I love my mom.  

Here's a front and back.  The back is from mom's eye view of me on her lap.  The front is what she is missing.  So she held the phone out and clicked with her thumb.  That wasn't easy as the phone was facing me~ and her has small hands.  She has to stretch that thumb to take the picture over right smartly.

  

I saw the you-know-who.

 Kitties!  Woofies!  I went to my appointment Thursday late afternoon. I got my clars cutted again, my earsies cleaned again, my certain glands, *clears throat* expressed, and my bloods drawn for the T4 test.   Mom also bought me Royal Canin Kidney dry food.  A dear friend gave mom a baggie full to try and she tested me with it. I loved it.  So now, she has an 8.6 pound bag at $59.00  I am worth it.  I have been eating it.  I hope I continue because the urine clumps have decreased even more. They did somewhat when I started my methimazole but now, it is even less than with the thyroid med.  That is great.  

The Dr. called Mom Friday morning and told her my thyroid reading was 1.6!!  How's THAT!!! He said to keep on what we are doing. 

 While we were there and mom was waiting for me to be returned to my room, the door opened and it was the receptionist asking if I had a black car.  Mom said "yes" and the receptionist said "Someone hit it."  Mom told me she picked up her purse and went straight to the parking lot.  The woman who hit the car was following Mom though, Mom didn't know that.  Mom give her full credit.  She came straight in and told what she'd done so as to tell the car owner.  Which was my mom.  The woman was very frightened, and my mom was very kind.  Believe me.  

We will start with calling the place that will fix it in the morning to get an appt. to have an estimate.  Then., get an appointment to have the rear panel on the passenger side fixed.  Several not too large dents and paint scraped off. What a day.  

AND I gained 2 ounces!! Kitties, Woofies. 8.4.   I have my new chair now.  The tech will see it this coming Thursday because mommy can't recline and stay down when she tries.  She strains and gets all the way down... then she rebounds all the way upright like a bride's garter snapped out into the crowd of men guests at a wedding! Just instant upright Mommy.  she can't keep it down.  My brother could, and my human sister too but not pitiful mom.  Go figure!  We will report what the tech says when he gets here.  I will show it to you.  I already like it.   Wanna see?

 Kitties!  Have to go see my v-e-t this late afternoon.  I need my, um, "special" glands expressed and I will get a blood test to see how my thyroid and kidneys are doing  

I must feel pretty decent though Kitties and Woofies because I brought three of my babies into the bedroom last night. And I have been galloping to all the windows to see introoders.  I used to bring 5 faves into the bed room at night for Mom, but there for a while, she was lucky to get ANY.  Then, as I started feeling better after I began meds, I brought one in...then last night three favorites.  I am very particular who my faves are and always bring them.  You KNOW Donkey is one, Fat Pink Mousie is l

another and Floppy Mousie is the other.  Lion sometimes makes the cut, FSG and Mackerull

Mom! What Next! ?

 Kitties!  Sheesh Louise! 

Well here I am, no recliner.  Gone forever more.  Waiting till THIS Friday--an entire week I meow you! for the new one which is smaller! Mom is deluding herself if she thinks she is small and needs this smaller chair.  She IS short, I grant you. *she's partial to tall menfolk*  

So, what else is new?  Let me meow about it.

Two days ago a BIG box from Chewy came.  Heavy and cumbersome. Mom slashed and gouged at it  with her knife until she got it opened and slid the contents out.  

After she created much thunder and lightening in the house assembling it, (she could NOT find the opening to insert the post in the stand) she stood my new mini tree up in the living room.  My BARE living room with NO recliner in it!  I looked at it, spat at it, declared it unfit for anything but the trash, and went to recover with a nap. 

Mom found the last glassine envelope of silvervine, and put it on the sisal post and a touch on the flower top.  I smelled that from my room and came back out.  I don't need to say anymore.

Adventure Beckons!

 Kitties!  Woofies!! Maybe another adventure! Here I have been feeling more my age of 18 until!  Until! A mousie challenged me and lost! Mom asked me why I am in a loaf in the spare room next to the closet...why I'm in the loaf position by the library card catalogue she bought some time ago...why I am in a loaf by the bathroom, by the entry coat closet and in the kitchen.  I've been working like...well, working like a dog the past several weeks.  I deserve a raise.  And I don't call what Mom thinks I don't know, a reward;  I have to go to the v-e-t if and only if she can trick me  so that she can get me into the PTU.  Blood test to see how the methimizole is doing...clars cutted, earsies cleaned, and um...well...she finally noticed for the first time my, well, sorta , my private area because of a so-called sanitary clip (NO BOY CATS CAN or ARE ALLOWED to  READ THIS!) and now she wonders if my ..well, my, um, well! sorta my glands need expressing.  Boy cats may come back now.  

And look at THIS why don't you?  Mom had someone come and take my recliner!  IT IS GONE..Fini. Someone else took it to their home and she didn't even make them pay for it.  My new recliner is coming on Friday, so I can monorail again.  LONG time to wait.
