Bizzy Bizzy

 Mom is still getting ready for Thanksgiving.  The turkey was just out in the fridge to thaw out.    The rolls were bought...Mom never makes those.  Too much work she said what with all the other work.  She made brother a coconut cream pie yesterday.  It is covered and wrapped in aluminum foil.  No merengue.  She is not good at that plus, it would deflate badly by the time he gets here.  Here it is in its recipe. However she and her DIL each got to scrape the pan and got a BIG tablespoon brimming with the filling each, after pouring the rest into the pie shell. 

The Rich Cats Next Door.  I am envious! 

Mom gets all worried when she looks thru the see-thru lid of the new (LG) washer.  It looks like  there isn't a drop of water in there!  The dryer  (LG) ran 100 years and the laundry was damp.  She is getting used to the settings and maybe next time she will get it right.  I kept following her everywhere wanting lap time.  Got very little.  I had a chance later 'cause she watched UT VOLS play FLA in the "Swamp" last night on ABC.  We WON!

Brovver Helped me

 Kitties!  I haven't had anything of me to celebrate anything in years.  Mom is hopeless in doing such things and so Mom finally asked one of my brovvers if he would do my Thanksgiving picture.  He did!

So before I do anything else, I will wish each and all a Happy Thanksgiving.  

Two of my brovvers will be here Thanksgiving.  The third brovver will be here in Spirit. He loved the day, all its foods and desserts!  He and Mom were the only one who loved pumpkin pie...so mom just made one for him (and her) alone just before or after Thanksgiving, then.  

If you missed this sweet picture in Face Book, Mom said she would like me to post it here for everyone to see.  I know how this kitty felt because of when Mom had to do back surgery on original Donkey a few years ago.  Thank goodness she was able to make him fit again.  But when he lost one of his legs...that took the oomph outta him.   Mom luckily had bought his brother at the same time as Donkey-- so the new Donkey had to come out about eight years later.  He had been marinating all that time!!

This could easily have been me and Mom really.  We hope she maintained a sterile field.  

Mom said she has a lot to do this morning so I will release her from duty now.

Bibbity bobbity Boo

That silly camel is marinating.  But, I have an egg & bacon
 to eat! 

 Know what?  In my Chewy order, I ordered some Senior Feast not realizing it was mixed flavors.  Mom has always assumed for unknown reasons that I would not eat beef..that I would hate it...and why even put such a thing on the market she thought.  Well, the box of senior feast had half grilled and half pate which she didn't know.  She wouldn't have bought it (Whatta Maroon!!!) if she had known.  There it was!  Mom opened a beef with dread-- and I licked the bowl clean as a whistle.  She's been feeding the rest all day!  There were other things Mom was sure I wouldn't like.  Um, Mom.  Wake up and smell the coffee! I have eaten them all!   Again I say:

Now I am just as liable to spurn all of them in the next hour.  That's how I roll.  

Kitties, I am going to ask Precious is she would like to meet me at the airport and hop a jet to Milan.  It's been awhile since Dai$y and I went and spent so much.  It's feeling like time to go again- and I know Dai$y would be tickled if we did.  I  want to ask Jo Jo too...we  American girl kitties  need a Canadian girl kitty to keep us straightened out (HA!) and sensible!  We don't want to spend TOO much after all.  

Precious, want to meet me at the airport? You know the drill. You'll hop onto the Isabella Express & it's straight on to Italy and  SHOPS! 

Bring several extra handbags with you..I will too, so we can carry what we buy.  Get mom's cards...

First One EVER

 Kitties!  I have my first ever Chewy box.  I got foods in it and a toy that may as well have stayed there at Chewy because I have not even sniffed at it.  It's a Camel.  I had to make plenty of biscuits for that because it was over nine dollars... and I won't have anything to do with it from the first second she tried.  But I have a Chewy box and mom cut an entry into it.  I have lain in it several times.  I kinda like it.  I brought my Plague Ratsie out too. 

You know what?  Two foods I turned my refined beautiful nose up about were what she ordered anyway because I am so fussy that sometimes in desperation, I WILL eat them, and they are delicious again.  Know why?  Those cans of Fancy Feast were the very freshest food I ever HAD!  Mom needs to go look at the use by date.  Usually the Chunky Chicken is kinda dry when you buy at the pet food store.  Older stock I guess.  This had lots of juice so to speak all around and over it.  I tore into it like it was from the fanciest restaurant.  AND the Fancy Feast Senior Grilled Chicken, same thing!  I ate like a choo choo train coming down the track!  OH it was good.  Finished my cans well before the day ended. 

Mom had me doing this bloggie and helping her with HERS!

 

I am totally exhausted with all the enforced work!

Whoopty Do Thursday

Tried to give you all a break from me.  It's been a little while since I blogged.  Figured you were getting tired of all that stuff. BUT! I have MORE stuff, turns out.  

Finally after three weeks, mom said all the things she hired done are finally done.  Good thing she is a good saver, so she can pay for all those things AND all my different foods.  She used some of that to get two appliances, the new storm door, and several other things as well as needed repairs. Mom said installation cost is about as bad as the product cost! 

Look!  She went out and got the last roses  off several of the rose bushes because our man is coming to cut back the bushes for winter very soon.  

She went out and got 3 more. That did it. 

Maybe I won't knock it over.  That vase is full.

Three days ago, a work buddy came by to see us.  He and his wife are cat people.  I love him to pieces.  I always come straight in when I hear him.

Oh, him and the sunpuddle...what a great day!

Kitties, it has been an awful few weeks but I think that's over.  Mom hadn't hardly helped me at all with mine or reading other kitties's blogs.  We are both sorry for our absence.
