Happy Easter you all! It was raining a storm when I got up but Mom headed out anyway. My foods were needed.
Mom got our new Allegiance flag hung. Cost her a few dollars for a handy man but it was worth it. It's hanging off the deck and her short arms can't handle getting it out of its holder, getting it back in...nothing about it would be OK for her short self. She'd have to sit on the edge of the deck rail and probably splat 12 feet down to the ground. Sometimes you gotta have a man, Mom said. I think she meant for help where short people have a hard time. It came with the 3X5 flag...heavy and beautifully made. It has spinners that it is affixed to so that there is no possibility of the flag winding round and round the staff which it continually did before as it is ALWAYS windy here. Came with a Vermont hard wood staff, a holder, and everything to attach it to its place.
Then, she got word that someone will be here to do warranty repair on our new LG washer whose suspension rod is kaput. Thank heavens for friends she said, as couple friend's invited her over to try to get our laundry dry as the machine quit during the spin and laundry was heavy and wet. Mom said she had THE best visit in ever and ever. They are both so gracious and warm, and know what friends are. Jon, the husband, was not only gracious but courtly. What a wonderful couple. I am glad I live here, I am a Southerner and so are they. I can see them both perfectly at home playing in Gone With the Wind. You know coming away that you were treated like an honored guest.
Mom said she got a notice via email and text that there was good evidence of a credit scam. Holy COW! She called and they had already killed the card. Mom spent time at the bank getting a new one only to find it would not work in the grocery store. Back to the bank..they saw everything and said the card IS good. The chip reader at the store was not. SO...went against to an ATM and it worked. There have been 5 separate really annoying yucky things that have happened. Maybe that was the last of it.
See Mom wearing the new Katie Isabella necklace? All silver. Lot's of cracker crumbs on her shirt...

Your new flag looks beautiful and hooray for kind friends. The Katie necklace is very pretty!!!
When it rains it pours! "Sometimes you gotta have a man" I find myself saying that a lot! MOL
We hope there’s no more problems for your mom, Katie. Happy Easter!
The flag certainly looks good.
Thank heaven for good friends.
Dealing with credit scams and problems is a pain, I hope it's all over and done with.
A blessed and beautiful Happy Easter to you!
we love your new and beautiful flag, Katie and Mom. And great news that the people will come fix the dryer. In the meantime, thank goodness for your very good friends! Love and hugs to you both. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter and Passover and Spring to all! We're so glad to hear that things are going better! The new flag looks beautiful and it's great that it won't wind around the staff. The Katie Isabella necklace is marvelous! Those are nice friends who helped out with the dryer situation indeed! I like living in the South too. Not always or everything, of course. But I do love the friendly and helpful people, marvelous sunlight for pictures, and ever fascinating twists of language.
Enough with all the troubles already! NIce flag! Good thing the man came to help...we could use a man around here, too, sometimes, as hubby cannot do a lot of this or that, and I can only do so much.
Sometimes we have residents from the south, whose families live here, so they wanted their loved one closer...anyways we had one lady, a real sweet lady, but quite particular...anyways when she got all hot, and when we were dripping sweat taking care of her, she said, "I don't sweat, I glisten", LOL!
Happy Easter...a wee bit late...!
The flag looks lovely, and the pendant is beautiful. I hope all the problems are finished with now. Happy Easter to you both.
How lovely to have such a lovely new flag, a new installation, such great and kind friends, and a wonderful feline in real life and on the chain.
May good karma keep you safe from the bad things in life and may the sun shine this holiday weekend for one and all good folks

The flag is great. Mom had issues with LG refrigerator but, fortunately, it was covered by warranty. The necklace is fabulous!
Chaplin: "Happy Easter, Katie! Wow, that's a run of irritating stuff you've had going on there ― we hope things settle down for the rest of April!"
Charlee: "It's nice of your mom to put out a pillow on the bed for you like that!"
Well, that's a lot of stuff to go through!
Katie, you calm your meowmy down with purrs and fur.
Happy Easter, we hope mew had a blessed day! 😻🐾😻🐾😻

Beautiful flag and necklace. Sorry I am so late. I hope you had a nice Easter. XO
Boy, I miss the days when credit cards were put on the machine that slid a carbon copy over it. Remember those? No micro-chips, no reading except by some store clerk.
I love Mom has Katie Isabella around her neck. I know Katie Isabella has Mom around her paw. I sure do hope the LG is up and humming.
I put my hand over my heart when I saw your New Old glory
Hugs cecilia
