Stoopie Leopard

Kitties!  That ol' stoopie Leopard is gone away from me still; but I know from all the tossing and turning that he just may come back for a visit.

Here I am this morning:   Resting comfortably with my lookalike.

You can see Leopard is no where is sight.   Oh no...he is.   Not in here but:  King Spitty will come over and deal with him. (I'm pretty sure). (I went over and washed his ears last night...he'll be putty in my paws).

Leopard declared: I'm ready to help  our Mom!

He said that about helping Mom  because I have learned now to not smother her by covering her head but hey, what's wrong with falling asleep...all magnificent close to 15 pounds of me, on her chest?  Heart doesn't have room to beat?  Pish Posh!  Getta grip, mom.

Good Day for ME

Kitties!  Brovver just arrived,  We've had lunch.  He had two chicken legs and the thighs too and me...salmon.  I'm SO happy he's here.  We are bonded.  This is what I was doing when mom said he was coming over.  This is the bed he uses alla times in the spare room.  I'm warming it.

About MY bed though..and Mom's...I was so very extra, awfully, and again, very  happy that when we went to bed last night Leopard went back to his high perch in the spare room and left me alone.  He was gone when we went to bed last night.  I hopped off mom's chest as soon as she turned out the light & went between the pillows to made doubly sure he was gone.  AND he was gone!  Like the wind. I immediately crawled in between the pillows and then, after she fell asleep, I put my face into her ear area.  When I started washing my arms, she woke because of tickling.  BUT I quit and later I came back and glued myself to her hip.  Mom made me do without her for a whole week to try to break the habit and it seems to have worked.

Leopard left a note that he WILL come back if he has to  But it always made mom sad to see me so disappointed.  Today, I was thundering around at dawn...tossing my babies, and making sweet sounds.  I am HAPPY again!

Now I am...Now I'm Not

Kitties! I am not always asleep!  Well, at least for two hours of the day I'm not.  Here is proof.

But...then...there's this

Mom and Me

Last night, before bed
Last night before bed

Kitties, Leopard is standing...or lying-- between mom and I.  She has admittedly had some very sleepless nights because I am smothering her.  She loves me so much.  I love her just as much and I am trying to be as close as I can be...like glue on paper.  But it causes a lot of problem for her.  She put Leopard in between us and I asked so nicely to have him removed.  She wouldn't, and it made her feel guilty.  The next night, she took him away and I was beside myself with gladness because I could snuggle tightly.

You should have heard my small voice asking, and then purring and snuggling in closely,  cutting off mom's air.  Mom had to ask Leopard to stay between us again, though she was truly sorry she had too.

This time I did stay on the bed for awhile, and I climbed onto her chest in the night several times too...so tonight she won't feel quite as sad for me.

Mommy just took this.  He is all ready for tonight!

I Am a Mighty Huntress

Kitties!  Patience wins.  I finally nailed that impudent mouse that has been here shaking its tail under my radar a lot of times these past 6 weeks or so.  Beware!  Picture is coming.

This time I did not bring it to the bed for mom.  You may not remember back that far, but mom sure does, that I brought one into the bed in the night about 1 in the morning when she was sleeping hard.  It got loose from my fangs, so I was chasing it all over our bed.  Mom thought I was "just playing" and I was, but not how she thought it was.  I was so rambunctious, she finally turned on the light and saw the blood all over the bed and the mouse plus me...wild eyed...playing with it.

Of course that meant a complete change of bed linens, a thoroughly awake BOTH of us AND...the mouse escaped!

Beware:  Here comes my triumphant feat, captured.  AND a secret message from me.  (thanks CK) ❤️

Three Toy Night

Kitties!  I brought Donkey, Floppy Mousie and Turtle into the bedroom last night with announcements fit for celebration, they were that loud.  Mom and I are always glad they are in there.  Sometimes as a special surprise I bring in two others, giving us a quintet!

A few days ago, my Client came to visit.  I have him trained now and he no longer plays life guard in my big water bowl!  What's more, I don't have to hide my dry morsels from him.  He always went straight for them as soon as he got here, but he  has ceased eating them years ago.  I can tell mom to leave the water and fuds on the mat in their usual place when he comes over.  He does like emptying my toy basket  sometimes though, but Donkey is frail, so he goes on a shelf to observe and to nap.

BUT!  Here I am with the Client's iPad.  There are sentences to arrange and numbers to make right..all kinds of things like that, and my Client left it on the floor.  I went straight over and did some sentence structure too!  I also tried to eat HIS food that he happened to have brought with him.  You know what they say..turn about is fair play.

Take THAT Mom!

I read all mom said on Face Book about me.  I didn't appreciate it because she was making fun of me  I thought, and saying I made her uncomfortable.  Well now!  I wonder how you'd feel if you had to be there in that bed all by yourself with no warm Katie Isabella to be your guard!? Huh?  Any answers to that?

Here is what may be coming to a bed under YOU Mom.  I wonder if Buzzy will wake you up in your sound sleep without ME!
