Kitties!

Kitties, Woofies!  Happy Halloweenie. Us, we are cruising and doing nothing.  There is not a single porch light on up and down the street.  No kids but three next door and they gave up on us Halloween nights some time ago.

Here I am on the filing cabinet.  The focus is "soft"..meaning that mom didn't GET it in focus but she persists in posting it anyway.  Sigh.

And, I am posting this meownings's picture mom took and cropped the heck out of me in my new favorite place.  The heat vent.

Oh.  I think mom was about to throw me outside for the night as I have been so all over her face and head for a couple of weeks after the light was out... and she hasn't hardly slept well for those nights.  Last night, I knew she'd had it, so I slept just barely apart from her head.

Someone backed into Mom's new car today.  That hurt as she was so proud of how pretty it was.  She kept it gleaming.

See ya later Kitties...

Tell ya What!

Kitties, gonna get rude with that ginger out there!  Traipsing through MY land like he owned it!  I have refrained from telling him off till now but that time has passed. Now I will tell it like it is.  It is unseemly that he do this!  He is a blatant trespasser!

I had to run like a race car all the way to the living room, to the kitchen, to the bedroom, into here where my crows nest is trying to get a bead on him. as he taunted me and loved every minute of it.

I am presently in the crows nest and this time when I see him, I will call him ungainly names and question his heritage!  See if I don't.

My heart is made of steel.  I will prevail.

Sister Sascha

I just learned that beautiful Sister Sascha has flown to the Rainbow Bridge this morning.
Her parents are heartbroken and so am I.  Rest in peace beautiful little girl.  We all love you.

Please go to see Sascha's parents and leave them some loving words.

That Wasn't Very Appreciative Mom

So, I'm laying in bed there last night draped on mom's head.  My arm is firmly plunked down and resting on her cheek. No prob...right?  I can tell she doesn't really feel comfortable though so I am very quiet.

She turned the light out.  I took this as my cue to slide down farther, and I laid my head at rest on her temple.  She said something like it was as heavy as a boulder on her temple ...that regardless of how warm and adorable it was to have my furred chin and neck with the weight of my adorable sweet headie slung across her face and temple,  I was making her miserable and unable to sleep!  The nerve!   I took offense.  She said it hurt.  I said be grateful!  She turned her head and dislodged my headie, and I had to give up.  Kitties, it is hard to bear this meanness from her.  But I soldier on.

She complained that she was burning up from the blanket she put on that very morning to keep her warm.  WELL????? So tonight she will roll the blanket down and use the sheet and me to keep her warm.  Man.  I have to live with this!

The woman can't be pleased.  That's all I got to say about THAT!

Guess I'll sleep HERE then.

Mom Never Grew Up

Kitties, first, I'll demonstrate that I can scootch down out of the hottest part of the sun.  You see my blankie I was resting on.  Yes, this place is a place mom ALWAYS feels compelled to take pictures of me. And she always posts them,  poor woman.  I guess seeing me stretched out bonelessly enjoying the sunpuddle just makes her happy.  (get a job, mom).

Not to be outdone, here SHE is for pity sake, in her new pajama set hat just arrived.  Well, the top anyway--- so she can show it off. Her development must have become arrested or something the minute she laid eyes on a kitty back in the far reaches of time a billion squillion years ago.

Sigh.  Here.  There mom.  Better now???

Bless her heart....
