Kitties!

Kitties, Woofies!  Happy Halloweenie. Us, we are cruising and doing nothing.  There is not a single porch light on up and down the street.  No kids but three next door and they gave up on us Halloween nights some time ago.

Here I am on the filing cabinet.  The focus is "soft"..meaning that mom didn't GET it in focus but she persists in posting it anyway.  Sigh.

And, I am posting this meownings's picture mom took and cropped the heck out of me in my new favorite place.  The heat vent.

Oh.  I think mom was about to throw me outside for the night as I have been so all over her face and head for a couple of weeks after the light was out... and she hasn't hardly slept well for those nights.  Last night, I knew she'd had it, so I slept just barely apart from her head.

Someone backed into Mom's new car today.  That hurt as she was so proud of how pretty it was.  She kept it gleaming.

See ya later Kitties...

We don't have kids around here either, but still our mom wanted to be prepared Just In Case (which we know is Mom Code for buying candy). And fie on that stoopy person who damaged your mom's car!

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, a car is but a car... Sad but still, it is not a living being!
Your photos are cute and I love the new position near the heat vent; smart gal!
Sending you hugs,
Mariette

We had a lot of those trick or treaters at our house, Katie. Wally greeted them all at the door. Sorry about your mom's car. That's a bummer.

Katie, yous could do what mes does. Mes sleeps right by the Mom's pillow. Mes doesn't disturb hers that way, and hers likes to wake up and find mes nearby! :)

Wes is sorry to hear about your Mom's car.

Oh Katie....first of all, aren't heating vents GREAT? Nice and cozy! Mom has one of my beds by a vent and it's just purrrfect. Secondly, we had a bazillion trick or treaters compared to NONE last year - not sure why?! Thirdly, that's a very big BOOOO about your Mom's new car. I know that makes her very sad.....and angry!

Love, Teddy

That is awful about the car. You are so sweet to want to be so close to your mom at night, she is lucky. Very pretty photos. XO

Be cautious, KI. Do not get tossed out into the night. It's getting chilly out there. Bummer about the fender bender on your mom's car. That is never fun. I hope it bets fixed easily and is back to gleaming and sparkling soon.

Love and licks,
Cupcake

Katie san, you are looking so beautiful! Oh I know your mom would never throw you outside, but it's very considerate of you to give her a little space :-)
I'm sorry to hear about her car. I hope it'll be fixed soon.

Dear Katie, what a life you and your mom lead!! Very exciting! But I guess that the prang :-) your mom had was one excitement too many! It was good of you to allow some space for her in the night, but after our discussion the other morning I think maybe we should both make a concerted effort to be more paws on with regard to the sleeping arrangements in our respective abodes! Fondest Regards,
Austin ❤️

Oh, I am sorry to hear about Mom's new car. Ouch. But it sounds like the Mom wasn't hurt, that's good. I'm glad you're being gentle Katie, and letting her sleep a little.

Very unfortunate about your Mom's car! Hope there wasn't too much damage.
Speaking as a human, sometimes humans need a wee bit of "space".

Katie, you look beautiful all curled next to the heater.
I also like the "soft" picture of you. Too bad about your Mommy's car! My Mommy would be upset too even though she got her car in February!

I am so sorry about the car. I have had that happen, and it is disappointing. Were you in the car? I can't say much about the sleep arrangements, as ChloeJo sleeps on my head, pillow, shoulder, neck...me...she is my BabyCat. It is all about her. HUGS!

Katie, you're adorable! If our mommy was there she'd come visit you on Halloween even with the porch light off. Heck, she'd come there any day if she could! We're sorry about your mom's car. That would make our mommy sick because she's so particular about her car. We hope it's able to be fixed easily.

We didn't have any trick-or-treaters here, either, Katie. We are sorry to hear about your mom's car. We are glad SHE is okay.
