Happy Easter, Kitties and Woofies and Parents

 Happy Easter you all! It was raining a storm when I got up but Mom  headed out anyway.  My foods were needed.

Mom got our new Allegiance flag hung.  Cost her a few dollars for a handy man but it was worth it.  It's hanging off the deck and her short arms can't handle getting it out of its holder, getting it back in...nothing about it would be OK for her short self.  She'd have to sit on the edge of the deck rail and probably splat 12 feet down to the ground.  Sometimes you gotta have a man, Mom said.  I think she meant for help where short people have a hard time.  It came with the 3X5 flag...heavy and beautifully made.  It has spinners that it is affixed to so that there is no possibility of the flag winding round and round the staff which it continually did before  as it is ALWAYS windy here. Came with a Vermont hard wood staff, a holder, and everything to attach it to its place.  

Then, she got word that someone will be here to do warranty repair on our new LG washer whose suspension rod is kaput.  Thank heavens for friends she said, as couple friend's invited her over to try to get our laundry dry as the machine quit during the spin and laundry was heavy and wet. Mom said she had THE best visit in  ever and ever.  They are both so gracious and warm, and know what friends are.  Jon, the husband, was not only gracious but courtly.  What a wonderful couple.  I am glad I live here, I am a Southerner and so are they.  I can see them both perfectly at home playing in Gone With the Wind.    You know coming away that you were treated like an honored guest.

Mom said she got a notice via email and text that there was good evidence of a credit scam.  Holy COW!  She called and they had already killed the card. Mom spent time at the bank getting a new one only to find it would not work in the grocery store.  Back to the bank..they saw everything and said the card IS good.  The chip reader at the store was not.  SO...went against to an ATM and it worked.   There have been 5 separate really annoying yucky things that have happened.  Maybe that was the last of it.

Good Night Nurse..or Something + An Update re: Washer!

 Mom is having a not terrific time.  The door salesman who came yesterday quote over 8 thousand dollars for a plain front door.  He showed her a nicer one with glass in the design.  Pretty.  Mom liked it and me too.  I could see out of some of it.  Eight thousand bordering on 9.  He had all the geegaws and furbelows in it.  Mom had to say buh bye!  I'll make her go to Home Depot  to see what they can do~~~ and she'd rather run nekkid down Main St. than go to them, but...I will make her. 

Then while I was whining for my usual boatload of treats and following her everywhere and helping while she washed her hair, did the usual with it, dried it, ironed it..blah blah and me whining constantly to have my way...she heard a sound which turned out to be the new washer knocking as it was severely unbalanced...with a light medium load of T shirts, undies, hand towels, one bath towel and the microfiber sheets and cases.  NO reason for a several month old LG washer to go crazy BUT!  it did.  Not her best day.  She called someone and they are on their way to see what the matter is.  

Now I know.  The Suspension Rod died.  It is still under warranty so I went to the store and asked about what to so  They said since it is under a year, they will do it.  Maybe any time from Saturday to Tuesday.   I will get ready to go to a public dryer  :-(

I'm napping but dictating nonetheless...and she woofed down something to eat before they get here.  

Grrrr is what she said.  I said " I want my treats."  (she gave them to me several hours ago, but more would be nice.)

I have had such a good day!

Kitties!  the Vitamin B12 has had several weeks to work in me and I have felt pretty decently.  I am eating a bit.  Sometimes Mom has had to open 4 cans to get the content of one can into me.  But I'm worth it.  

To change the subject a moment...Mom started on that document again..I came from nowhere and got onto the desk and started onto the keyboard.  Mom scooped me up with both arms and put me outside the room.

Here I am again!  Just got up to help with the keyboarding.  She moved it over yo where it is difficult to type..off the extreme left side... and I am guarding her.   But she was just typing my dictation.

 Mom said she is going to upload 2 videos to uTube...see you in the funny papers.  Mommy doesn't know what she's doing.    They are on her page on Utube successfully  Just can't seem to post them here.

OK, Fellers and Kitties

 Welp, As you know I was an irritated Mom last evening but me and Her, we settled in the new scratched up chair and had some premium lap time for over an hour an hour or so before bed and she was on my face or next to it, all night.

I think you already know this all  of her furriends, but I will say it anyway.  She was very annoying but I never said anything to her.  When I did speak, it was in the usual low tones.  She is still the Ruler here.  Just the Servant got irritated.  Speaking of that, there was some excellent advice given.  For pity sake, close the DOOR! Better her outside of it complaining than me inside of it with her, complaining!  Gotcha, and I will do as you all said.  Terry, if you see this, her tummy settled and she asked for supper.  (and treats).

Here is this morning right after her methemizole treatment to her sweet ear.  It's always treat time right after meds.  So she is in her room waiting.  What you see is her going to all the places her treats are waiting.  Beddie, tree, two levels of it, behind the tree on a mat by the heat vent, in the PTU and in her cloud strewn little house.

 You know, much as I treasure this girl, I am so you-know-whatted-at her right now.  

I am sitting here trying to do an extremely important thing on- line.  It regards her favorite brother who passed away in 2022.  She came up on the desk and stepped on the keyboard.  The process said "don't hit the back button throughout as it will erase all your data."  Turned out true.  It was a crucial thing at that moment...all of it is..and ding danged if she didn't do it AGAIN!  She voluntarily left  then and threw up a large watery mess on the carpet.  Got that cleaned up, fuming...and sat down to hear the heaving of another go-round.  Up leaving the computer, and cleaning another wet mess.  Then a third one after just re-sitting down.  Can't find several down loaded things that are crucial and here she is agin next to the keyboard.  

So I give for today.  Need to look for 2 more documents anyway. I'm irritated and not liking the attempts to lick the lotion off my arms and hands.  For the moment, it's just not my day.  So while this is unlike me through all the years of blogging, I am showing you the other side of me.  A irritated Mom.

 It's me, Katie Isabella.  

Mom has been busy..more than usual and she hopes my friends will forgive her and me.  And, for me until the B12 shot I have been feeling a bit down.  

BUT Kat came over and joined me UTB all day.  

We're smack dab in the middle...UTB

Mom told Kat's Mom that she could hear giggles for awhile and the snap of crunchy treats...then...snores!  I will say after we told one another everything there is to tell...and ate till we were busting...we MAY have been slightly sleepy.  Maybe.  I invited him to stay over.  so far so good.
