Kitties! I swear, can't keep Mom outta trouble. Here she goes again with the eye thingy! Well, this time, she didn't wait long, just a day and called for a work-in at the Ophthalmologist office. Got the appt. within an hour. Mom told a friend that the Dr. had to turn her upper eyelid outward to see what was going on, as Mom thought she had a painful speck in her eye. Dr. knew that wasn't it. Cutting to the chase as this is MY blog not hers...she'll go do her blog next...it is/was a very painful dry eye syndrome she was having. Whoda thunk it? Lots of stuffs to help out, and it DID! She is going to make a change as soon as she can to keep air from blowing into her eyes over night. (Don't ask. Boring.)
Sun is out..still in the 40's in the night which Mom likes and really me too. I am curled on her face, ear and head. But it is rising to low 70's in the day. Meh.

Whoa Katie, eye ball pain! Worse than a pain in the patootie. I did not go outside this morn. It was finally dry, but we had the freeze and the bird baths were froze. Will be agin tonight. I stayed in with Lynn all to myself. I know how you feel having yer mommy all to yerself. It is 40 and windy and tryin' to snow. No doubt you gotta hole in da roof and da wind is blowin' in on yer mommy at night, mol.
OH MY CATS A BOBCAT. I SAW A KINDA SCARY NEWS PIECE LAST WEEK ON A BOBCAT ROAMING AROUND A NEIGHBORHOOD JUMPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO GET PETS IN THE YARD. I HOPE THIS ONE IS SOON MOVING INTO THE FOREST

Ooh anything with the eyes sounds so painful!
That sounds awful. I am glad she got something to help. XO
Eye trouble: inconvenient, painful. I will have to read your mum's blog to see what's going on.
Ughhhh ! Purrs to your Mom ! Our human got a scratched cornea and they turned her eyelid inside out to look for an irritant (they called it "flipping the lid.") She has sworn that was worse than a pelvic exam !
Now THAT'S talkin'!!
Katie oh my, so sorry to hear of your mom's eye trouble! We are all purring up a storm here for that to be over soon! And, a bobcat, a definite bobcat, just look at that short tail! On an urban street, wowie zowie! That is just wild! We lived in the forest and never saw one, though we did see some scats once. Such a cute key-holder!
I hope it was an essay fix
Pain in the eye is horrible no matter what the cause is
Sending hugs. Hope today is beautiful for you.
Katie, you are gracious to allow your meowmy's information to be related on YOUR blog, and we all hope her eye issue will stop being an issue right away.
We hope your Meowmy's eye gets better quickly, Katie. It sounds painful - and the thought of her eyelid being turned inside out - OUCH!
So glad your mom got her eye fixed. That musta hurt!
Yikes on the bobcat! We have foxes here and almost every day one runs through the yard with "something" in its' jaws......Mom keeps a close eye on me though - I'm not allowed to wander but I think I'm too FAT for a fox to carry (that's my secret weapon!).
Hugs, Teddy
Katie, we have bobcats in the preserve which is pretty much our backyard. Also allie gators and otters. They all stay pretty much to themselves.
Good to read that your Mom's eyeball is doing better.
Oh my Cod, mew have a bobcat!!!! So sorry your Mom's eyes are sore, we're sending oodles of healing purrs, and hope it's all better soon! 😸🐾😸🐾😸
Chaplin: "Our brother Tucker who we never met would get that dry eye! Mama would put ointment in his eye for it and then give him a cookie. I hope your mom is getting cookies too."
Lulu: "So that cat is named Bob? That's funny, we have cats named Bob around here, too. In fact we saw one at the park once!"
The best way to see a bobcat is from a large distance.
I hope moms eye gets better. Sounds awful.
Have a purrfect day and week. ♥
COOLIO!!!!
You as well and thank you so much. xx
Hi Sweetheart, Anything having to do with eyes is painful & annoying! Hope Mom is on the mend! That bobcat better stay away from you or it will have to deal with me. 🙀 Love Mom’s hat holder for her special hat. ❤️ Loverboy Kat
Eye pain is not something to mess with, I hope she is doing better and keeps doing better.
A bobcat. The critters often lose habitat and end up trying to live with us and it never works out well.
