Kitties! Mom here! I am going to ALL the stores on-line brick and mortar as they like to say...etc. I want a hooded litter box and one with a door opening NOT over 8 inches tall from the floor..
Lo and Behold! One, as I was reading the description, said it was for either sex, singly or several at a time.!!!!!!!!!!! I have never, not ever, never read such a stupid thing in my life!!
Meanwhile I can't see worth a dime.
Been to the specialist and my eyes were dilated VERY much, more than standard to they could go back and see the retina. I feel like I'm in the sun even while I am here in the house hours later. I'll go to bed like this. My pupils look like Katie's!
Here I am as Mom sneaked this photo of me half an hour ago. Mom is so glad I finally FINALLY came out of the bedroom and out from UTB! I'm in a sunpuddle!!!

Who knew that litter boxes would have to be explained to humans like that? No wonder the planet is in trouble.... 🙄
I do have John's book amongst my five or so dozen waiting to be read. (Not exaggerating. I'm reading as fast as I can. 😆)

I hope your mom's eyes quickly improve. What a load of nonsense was written for the description of the litter box. I don't have any of John Bellen's books yet as I have a lot that I bought when I was having treatment, but kept falling asleep from the anti nausea infusions. I thought I would be reading non stop for the 6 hours I was there, and ended up reading 4 or 5 pages! The books are on my to buy list once I have caught up a bit.
By the time I make this comment hopefully your eyes will have slept off the eye drops. I have read John's book. But it was so long ago when he published it that I really don't remember much about it. I'm sure you will enjoy it if your eyeballs keep working. Sweet Katie looks wonderful as always.

When Seney needed help getting into the too tall litter box, we simply cut the
door down and used less litter. Maybe this is a possibility for you.

We haven't read this book yet. We checked it out on Amazon and thought we should get it on Kindle as we have next to no shelf space left, but then it turned out that this is the second book in the series, so we really should read the first book first. We think maybe we'll download both of them, they're on offer together for $5.98, which seems a good bargain.
