Toys

Kitties!  I forgot I had that new silvervine and catnip, crocheted Fishie.  Mom found it and hauled it out again.  I have been having great fun with it.  She puts things up if I leave it unplayed with for several weeks and then, brings it out again.

It was 38 degrees F  this morning when we got up.  Well, when MOM got up.  I was up earlier.  I was looking for breakfast for sure, and fresh water.  Mom forgot it was the first day to vote so she will get out there in the morning and get it done.    She will do as she has always done and not subject anyone to her views.  She said, and I agree, that a kitty or doggy blog is not the place.  She has her own blog if it ever comes to that, but I doubt you need to worry.  She will do what she does, and that's it.

Look at me.  I get brushies every single day and sometimes Zoom Groomed.  So I am as soft as a whisper on summer air!

Mom said she hopes my brovver over the Mountains, can find a way to get here for Thanksgiving and especially Christmas.  It looks very difficult.

This is the way they each have to go and come from their homes.  Detours will add many miles.

Mom is hosting Thanksgiving.  Hope everyone is here.

Are all of you alright?

Hi, beautiful Katie! We love that you're enjoying your fishie so much. We hope and purr the whole family can be together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. XO

It's a great idea to put the toys away for a while until they become like new again. Getting together for holidays is a joy, I hope everyone can come.

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Happy to see that photo of you and your brushies are no doubt fun to get every day!
Also great idea for hiding your toys temporarily and then loving them renewed.
Did go to vote on Tuesday morning but had to stand in line for a long time! Using handicapped parking but then being on my feet without any seating ability for way too long... But sure glad that is done and we had a historical record turn out in Georgia!
What a sad fact that I–24 and I–40 is not open from North Carolina to Tennessee. Sure you can go around but at what effort and distance!
May God bless all those that lost everything and keep them sheltered somehow now the weather is cooling down so drastically.
We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!!!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

Katie we are going to guess that your brother is okay even though things are very difficult. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be a sad time for a lot of people this year unfortunately. We had our first freeze yesterday morning. Lynn's already brought things in the house for the winter and I might get crowded out. You almost hit your face with one of your arms and your picture. We had to look real close to see you whiskers. Maybe next time you run past my patio you'll stop and knock on the door.

MOL MOL MOL Katie Isabella of course you were up early looking for an all night diner. You are a funny Tuxie. I am sending so many purrs that NC brovver will be able to come home for the holidays. I'm reminding of the song 'over the hills and over the dales" I sure do hope Brov B finds some some good roads to your home.
Hugs Cecilia

That's a very cute photo of you, Katie. We have had a lot of rain here and lots of flooding, but we live up high so we've been OK. It's soo sad to see the destruction from the hurricanes in the US.

Purrs,

You always look beautiful, Katie Isabella. We have a zoom groom too. We like how it feels like a massage but it doesn't do much to get rid of our shedding furs - our coats are too thick. Hope things get better for your brother's travels

Your mum bean is furry smart to tuck unplayed with toys away for awhile. They always seem much more fun when we rediscover them.

You probably feel extra comfy after being groomed, Katie. No wonder you sleep the deep sleep.

38F!!! Why, that's only just above freezing! Oh dear - We would not like that! Why don't you hop into your Tunnel and teleport over here for a visit? It's getting a bit chilly at night but in the daytime, it's still plenty warm enough for picnics in the Enchanted Forest.
We hope all your family can make it for Thanksgiving.

Katie, your furs look meowvolous. We too have had some very cold mornings lately. Even if the cat door is open, we all are hanging out on the heated bathroom floor. We really hope those you love can get there for Thanksgiving. Mom and Dad usually go to one of dad’s nephew’s in Georgia for Thanksgiving. Mom isn’t sure yet if that seven to eight hour trip is something her knee will tolerate even if they do stop a lot.
