Back in 2011 Admiral and Nik got married. They had a Twitter wedding. Nik knew she was very ill at the time, but he loved her and asked her to marry him. She did and he joined her at the Bridge a few years later. She waited eagerly for him. So both Momma's commemorate this...me and Nik's Mom. We miss both of them just as much today as we did when we were left without them.
By the way, My huge woods has little color yet. I think the prolonged drought has hurt color and many leaves are beginning to fall without a show of much color. This is all the color..very little, I got outside my bedroom window.

Everything is so brief—it is there and it is GONE.
We had a very wet spring and summer so that might keep the leaves on a bit longer.

Happy Angels. Thanks Katie. We have most our leaves on the ground from the drought. The oaks are hanging on but are dry green and will not turn. How we miss our angels.

Happy anniversary to Admiral and Nik. Alway nice to remember those who have left us. Our leaves were the same, little color, mostly yellow-y brown and now with all the big winds, they have fallen to the ground.
