Finally!

Kitties, eight days with Mom here 24 hrs a day was starting to spoil me worse than I already am. Snow and ice as you know, but when she tried to leave yesterday finally on the 7th day,  when enough clearing had taken place the car wouldn't start.

So today, afternoon,  After it got to 37f, with a lot of gasping, choking, and smelling of gas...(the car...not mommy) 😊 Micah started-- and she sat out there letting Micah warm up a bit while I watched, till the car remembered its good manners.  She left and finally got to go to the grocery.

So...I got an early supper start since I did not like breakfast.  I'm walking around meowing.

This is what greeted mom when she got home from the store.

She saw me and that I missed the sunpuddle.

Closer up.  I am running over into her part of the couch as well as my own.

When she walked in and saw me

So glad the car behaved and she could finally leave.

Mudpie would LOVE it if I didn't leave the house for 8 days! (So would I!) But when the cat food starts to run low, that's a different story. Too funny about the gas! MOL

Thank goodness! I know the household was getting low on cat-food, so this was just in time.

You'd think you and the mom bean lived where we do. My mom bean said the car across the road finally started today after nearly a week of being dead. She's lucky to have a garage to park the car in and now the weather is getting nicer.

Hope yours is too!

Sometimes the stink of burning gasolinas just what we need. So glad your mommy got the car started and were especially glad that you got some good cat food. Precious was a little worried that you were starving and wondered how we could get you anything by helicopter. Today on top of our snow we are going to have freezing rain and Lynn is worried that the birdies have their feathers froze together. Winter winter go away come come some other day.

When I last drove around, it was so slushy and The Cat Car looks a fright!
Today, however, we have rain, sleet, snow...
At least we have only a week left of January.

Cars don't seem to like cold any more than we do.

I hope you catch the sunpuddle next time.

What a treat to have your mommy around for so long, sweet Katie. Grandpaw's battery gave up too, and Granny couldn't open her doors anymore, but both problems have been resolved🎉You look very cozy and warm. Snuggle on sweetie. Double warm Pawkisses for a Happy Day to you and your mommy too🐾😽💞

Oh no! Your car wouldn't start, either? There's some sorta moused up epidemic goin' on. Weasel Syndicate, perhaps? MOUSES!

PS. Sure am glad the car did eventually start. Ours had to go to the doctor. Nurse came and started the engine but the doctor had to do a batterdectomy, or somethin' like that. MOUSES!

So glad your mom did get to go out shopping, Katie. We had a rough time with the weather too for awhile, but I know it wasn't as bad as yours was! You look cute and warm and sleepy!

Our mom hasn't been out in even longer than that. Dad finally had to get a battery in one of the cars that he had to keep recharging the battery. It actually was 73 degrees today after having highs in the low double digits with feels like temps barely above zero. Unfortunately it goes back to normal tomorrow. At least all the snow has finally melted. You look quite comfy, Katie. Have a great weekend. Car troubles in bad weather are the pits. While my car did start it was rather reluctant to do so, esp when the weather was at -8F...so we had to fork over some of the funds for noms and treats for a new battery else *she* wouldn't be able to go out and get more!

Glad your car finally decided it would start for you. It must really have hated that snowy weather!

Sheesh, you had way more than we did and here everything was sort of shut down for a few days on account of the cold wind chill factors.

Maybe your mom can order your food and get it delivered like we do. Then you don't have to worry.
