Kitties and Woofies! I forgot that yesterday was Christmas Card Day. I am as useless-- and so is mom-- as mammary glands on a boar hog; so this lovely card I am sharing was done by Ann! We send this to all our furriends with love. Merry Christmas!

| Merry Christmas to all my furriends. |
Mom and I are busy as bees and that's busy! I helped her get all the Christmas cards addressed and ready to mail. She took them yesterday evening to the box. Today she and I will start wrapping. That is something that Mom would rather I did by myself and leave her out of it. She does what she is pleased to call her "spartan wrapping". It looks awful! I could do better with my four paws but, Nooooooooo. So, I'll watch her, helping when she asks me to hold the paper down while she tapes...and I may do the tags.
Mom and I had to endure a many hours thunderstorm with driving rain all day, and most of the night..but the thunder and lightning from bedtime till about 0400 was something that kept us awake an awful lot! I sleep on my pillow on the "passenger" side of the bed at night, and I had my arm out to her, touching her for my safety most of the night. Mom said she felt my toes.
Mom said she would try to re-type what she had for her own bloggie a few days ago. She messed it up badly, gave up and deleted it. It was about the spoon incident.
I seem to not want to eat my wet food. Seems I have begun occasional passes at it through the day and Mom has to bring it to me in my room or elsewhere to interest me. I am using my litterbox. Mom changes flavors all my life so I don't get hung up on one flavor. Mom's starting to worry a little.
I'm urging her to comb her hair and finish getting ready for the day. There are several items to go out into the still hard rain, for. See you over at your house.

Your card is most beautiful sweet Katie, just like you! I hope you and your Mom get a bit of a break from all the busy.
Beautiful Christmas Card, Katie. Thanks fur it. We heard bad tornado news fur Tenn. So sad. Glad you are OK. And helping mommy wrap it up. Angel Seney used to like to eat Gerber baby food chicken or roast beef when things were not up to snuff. That usually got her back on track fur Fancy Feast. Me, I do not like soft food at all and it does not like my tummy. Precious
That's a nice card although we don't really understand why yesterday shoul dbe Christmas card day when Christmas isn't until the 25th!
We hope your appetite reurns quickly, Miss Katie.
Purrs,
The Chans
Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, you no doubt are very helpful to your Mom!
Love the Merry Christmas card.
As for the eating and appetite... All our senior kitties are showing the same disinterest or not being hungry. It comes with age—don't worry too much.
Tennessee got hit hard by the bad weather we saw.
It is drizzling in Atlanta and probably all the way home to the kitties.
Hugs,
Mariette
So glad to see this today, we were concerned for all in TN. The bad weather did not affect our particular spot. That is one stunningly beautiful Christmas card! Sounds like busy times there.
Joanie worries me too. I think she gets constipated and doesn't want to eat. I give her Mirilax every day now, maybe you need a little of that. Your card is beautiful. XO
We love your pretty card, Katie. Thank you!
We were worried about you and Mom, and our other friends in TN. We are glad you are okay. Please try to eat your wet foods, okay? XO
That is a lovely card, Katie. I have posted my snail mail cards but haven't made my Ecard yet.
katie, yur holly day card beez bee ewe tee ful, just like ewe...we due hope de rainz haz stopped bye now and make sure de path way iz kleer for de dood in red ! ♥♥♥
You're so beautiful on your card. :) I sure hope you're health is good. ~hugs~ Your mom needs you and so do we in the blogosphere.
Katie, that's a beautiful card! I mailed my snail mail ones a week ago, but heaven knows when yours will show up!
I agree with Mariette -- tell your mom not to worry so much. Age does change a kitty's appetite, as it typically does for humans too. If you show signs of illness, well, that's another matter. I know my boys got even pickier than they were to begin with as they got older and I used up a lot of my life's energy on fear, panic and worry...plus a lot of my money trying to find food that they would eat and that would agree with their systems, not exacerbate health issues. In the end, there is only so much we can do...and it's enough. Sending lots of hugs.
"Passenger" side of the bed. I will have to remember that one. We go through food eating problems now and then too.
Sometimes mom bean thinks we kitties do stuff, like turn up our noses at our favorite foods, and sleep somewhere we've never slept before just to keep them on our toes. I'm not telling!
Hope your mom bean stays dry while she runs her errands.
Yes a beautiful Christmas card and when one is busy as the can start to feel unwell, so I hope all are well at your house.
I love your card, Katie!
Beautiful card! Please start eating better.
I love your card
I dislike how modern society conventionalises everything. Christmas Card Day? Christmas card day is whenever I receive or send Christmas cards. That thunderstorm sounds like it should have come in August, and not early December, Katie. Wow.
As for worrying about your food, it's good that your mum keeps a watch on such things (of course she would) and it's right to be a little anxious. But it may be as simple as (I hate to write it) getting old. You will eat less as you age; humans do it, too. It's depressing, really. But right now, it's just something to watch. Continued litter-box use is a good indicator of consumption. All your friends will keep reading for updates.
Even us healthy relatively young pups often say no to our food, which at other times we gobble up quickly.
We like your card...its so pretty!
I am only sending out ecards this year...except for a very few to peeps who don't have/use computers....I am turning into a Scrooge, Bah Humbug! LOL!
Please take time to reflect on why we even have this time of the year festivities...I know you will:)
Katie Isabella that is a lovely card thank you.
I hope mom soon finds a new or old flavor that tickles your nose and entices your taste buds. Madi would go thru stages like that. Too bad you kitties can tell us what you want
Hugs Cecilia
I wish you a blessed and beautiful Merry Christmas, also.
Spartan wrapping sounds about like what I do, mostly because I lack talent.
