Say WHAT, Mom?

Mom offers this in evidence that having me around is like having a toddler around.  Equally messy and full of traps on the floor to make it like a land mine area!

She also said she hasn't gotten that glider rocker reupholstered as no one seems to be doing that any longer. And the replacement cushions are truly unavailable.  She will see if anyone wants it, and will try to get a Queen Anne style chair.  That seem unavailable too.  Everything seems to be unable to be delivered.

However, this next picture shows you how concerned me and my tail are.  (and my nosie). (and fang)

As long as you have a comfy place to lay about, to heck with your
Mom's comfort, right. But maybe you can help direct her to a store
that is accommodating for chair purchase. I try not to use my claws
on Lynn's chair too much, as she says it is irreplaceable for many
reasons I do not understand. Mostly it is where she puts up her
legs to hold me for hours on end as I sleep through my supper
digestion. Precious

Oh Isabella, you are so cute and rather a Princess, I think. Your mom has a point about you making the house messy. Can you steer her toward a local furniture store? I am sure you will enjoy the new chair when she finds one, with nice soft cushions for you two.

MOL MOL Katie Isabella of course you have a ton more impawtant things to occupy your fine feline mind than rockers and such. You my precious little Tuxie are too cute. I kissed your nose

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, in a way we continue to live with toddlers indeed.
Sometimes playful, out of the blue and toys get dragged around or swatted away.
When doing the cleaning, they all are to be found under the furniture...😜
As for finding a person who does good upholstery, we have not been able to find one that could redo our leather sofa, love seat and chair cushions.
The world has CHANGED.
Hugs,
Mariette

You like to spread your toys around for easy selection when you need to choose one for your company.

gracious katie; how DARE the delivery company tell you they can't deliver your queen's chair anymore because it's not available I daresay we can find one on our next shopping excursion across the big pond and have it shipped air freight to your house and how's your mom going to know as we surely aren't going to tell her...hugs from dai$y =^..*=♥♥♥

Yup, the floor looks like after my great niece has been here. It is frustrating how hard it is to get anything these days. XO

Katie, Ava has her toys all about everywhere, too! It's a cat's purr-ogative, right?

Katie, we put all of Da Boys' toys back in the toy box, then they are all over the floor again like magic!
Must be a cat thing...

It's pretty nice being a kitty, so many less things to worry about. And seriously, who really cares if your toys are all over the place...much easier for you to get at. MOL!

I think the room looks like a cat lives there. It’s supposed to look that way. ~Ernie

Katie, my toys are all over the place too. My human is considering getting me a toy box because it's kind of out of control!

I can tell you are practically inconsolable about the upholstering issue, furniture buying problems, and any other issues your Mom may be having. Yes you look absolutely broken up about it. I actually think it was very clever of you to make an obstacle course with your toys for your Mom to negotiate - it keeps them PAYING ATTENTION and makes sure their sense of balance is good. It's the LEAST we can do for our humans.

Hugs, Teddy

You look carefree and completely blissed out about it all for sure, Katie!

Katie, your living room floor looks like our bedroom and dining room floors as that’s where our toy boxes are. Kizmet drags at least ten or more toys out from each every day. Sorry about your chair. We are lucky to still have food upholsterers here. Mom also got slipcovers from Amazon for all the living room furniture. Your lack of concern is dally noted. That is pretty funny Katie Dad says the same about us. He pushes our toys to the side every night and every morning they are all over again. Dad is so glad he is not in the market for furniture as he has heard the same thing all over. Now I want to say not to get all over stressed like you are about the furniture. It will work out MOL

You say toddler like it's a bad thing, KI. Everybody loves a toddler. And a fang. And a nosie. And a messy floor. You clearly have nothing to worry about... Enjoy!

Remind your Mom that a human toddler would be leaving Lego blocks for her to step on.

When my sister worked in the jail (corrections officer), she got a lot of her furniture redone by the inmates. They still look good even after many years...of course there are no kitties at her house...she let us be the kitty family, LOL!
And while you might tell your Mom to check out a local prion for what work they may be doing as part of their rehab, I see you are purrfectly content to let things just be!
