Mom and Katie Speak:
Kitties and woofies, my mom has always said that cats are unique, (as are all species), and they have their own ways and means to show their humans love. And they do show it every day in many ways. Cat parents know the singular difference between cats and dogs, and don't expect either species to act like the other. The word is "unique". Most pet parents who take excellent care of their charges, cat or dog, know that special unswerving love they receive from their pets in return. Katie shows her mom love every single day because love is all she knows. All of our family's cats have shown this same devotion, and they in turn were greatly loved.
Katie and I wanted to share two pictures that I swiped from the innerwebs. Love between Cat moms and their kittens.

I think it's so important to emphasize the human-cat bond, and for people to better understand their relationship with their cats.
You are so right Katie and Miss Carole.....love is easy to see and feel and give if our hearts are really THERE. "LOVE IS ALL WE NEED" It HUGS us and SOOTHES us and makes us feel secure. Those photos are beautiful illustrations of LOVE. It's the best feeling there is.
