Kitties, I had an embarrassment of riches and about to do so again. That means one of my favorite brovvers was here a for a week. BUT-- while mom and I had the place to ourselves Saturday and Sunday, and again this Monday...even though she has places to go and people to annoy...my Client will be here Tuesday for a playdate along with his mom. That is a joy. Then, Wednesday, that same brovver will be here over night and back home...then...other favorite brovver from over the mountains will be here until next Tuesday Mom loves so many peoples here and called it an old fashioned term..."an embarrassment of riches" Doesn't mean being embarrassed...just blessed with wonderful happenings. Any time we get our favorite humans around here...that's GOOD!
Mom said her gardenia bush is really making many many flowers. Mom only brought in 3 blossoms yesterday and the entire house is perfumed. She cut a bouquet this morning though and took them to other favorite brovvers house for them and my Client...and the gardenias had the car just wafting along through the airs as he (the car) was driving (car's name is Micah) with gardenia fragrance.
Not to be outdone...here I was last night:
I was telling Lion, Floppy Ducky and White Mousie their orders for the day and Mom caught me unawares. Donkey is napping however.

So much joy! Anyway, our mama is jealous of your mom's gardenia bush. Because she can't grow them and she tried many times in the past. As a child she remembered how fun summer was because the neighbor's gardenia was overflowing with flowers. Such wonderful scent.

It sounds like a busy time ahead for your household, Katie - but a fun time, too. (And I hope your mum didn't hear the actual orders you were giving. That wouldn't be right.)
An embarrassment of riches is wonderful! Visitors are so much fun! Especially family. We have not had any since last summer when some of our brother's friends were here. Mom was hoping to get some travelling in this summer but this morning we found out our brother will be getting back to work and will be gone most of the summer. He is happy as the Covid has meant he could not work (he does refit work on cruise ships). Mom is happy too!
