Kitties! I will be taken to the v-e-t tomorrow early morning. I am supposed to have all my shots and my senior physical, bloods stolen, wee -wee stolen, claws cut, my bloomers shortened for "certain" reasons,---(I has long bloomers, you know). And they will have to sedate me wif a pill when I get there.
No one is allowed inside. The parent calls from the parking lot and they come and get us. Parents pay by phone. Mom will be called to come and get me hours later as it takes 2 hrs for the sedative to take effect, then they tend to me, then I have to waken and then...they will call mom.
Please hope good things for me? Mom always gets scared when senior bloods and pee comes due. She remembers Admiral's terrible times.

Mariette and the 4 birthday kitties (13) who got each a special nugget of langostine (lobster tail that we got frozen at Costco) and they LOVED it, so did we with couscous and a mixed salad.

Dear Katie Girl - fear not - you will be just fine....you will close your eyes and all those "things" will be done to you and FOR you then Mom will rescue you and you can go home, surround yourself with your little family and SLEEP. I will be thinking about you all day today hoping you have good results all the way around AND that you will not be scaredy-cat...your vet is your friend and Mom and home are your "light at the end of the tunnel" today dear girl.

Leo says: Yikes Katie! I missed this yesterday and that means that you are probably still at the stabby place now? Oh I wish I'd seen this before you went, I'd have come and taken you to my place and hid you so you didnt have to go! Ok ok, I know it's good for you, but yikes! Praying all goes well. I hate that your mom can't go in. So far our vet is still letting us in , I went last week with my mom and her cat.
Katie we are sending lots of purrs and prayers that you do well with the vet. Rumpy should go for a trim but Dad needs to hold him so we put it off. He did get a snip with a scissor but he gets really nervous. Love you dear girl

Definitely will pray for both of you. Honestly I know the set-up has to be this way but I always hated leaving mine at the vet. I'd go out of my way to avoid that.
