Another Day, another Breakfast! YAS!

Kitties, Mom did go out with every one else and had Thanksgiving dinner.  It was the movie later that she stayed home with me.  She ate almost nothing..I however, ate my usual supper.  They came home from the movie about 8ish, and didn't care for it at all.  It was "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood".  The actor who played Mr. Rogers did not do well at all they said.  The favorite brovver who went with Mom's niece was reared on Mr. Rogers  (as were my other brovvers) and knows how he spoke and showed animation while speaking, and that he was not expressionless- as was the actor trying to portray him in the movie.

Mom finally walked barefooted through a hork when she got up yesterday morning and it was still dark as she passed through the house turning on lights.  Ha... and again... HA!

This kitty was given to mom and me when the niece arrived a week ago today.  Mom put it here in my office/playroom/bedroom.  It startles her when she becomes aware of it again in the corner of her eye while she is at the computer.  It's one of those doorstops.

THIS is me the first night we were alone again in the house.  WHEW!  Though I did miss Brovver.  I was glad to have mom home more..see her doing her usual things and I got to snuggle.

Mom was sent this by Simba's  Antics  and enjoyed it.  The look on the lady cat there at the couch arm is what mom enjoyed as well as the raincoat and hat!

Well, mom has to finish her face and head off into the biting cold.  I'll stay here.

There is something about hork that human feet MUST step in! I think they need to do a scientific study about that, Katie!

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Glad Thanksgiving went so well for you all, except for the Movie...
Why are you constantly horking up things? Hope you are NOT sick though.
Barty is still the very same... hardly eats anything but is oh so sweet.
Did not spend the entire night with him though, he lingers on the bed now himself and alternately lies on the tiles.
He did lay so sweetly beside me and oh his purrs... May he last a while longer this sweet, sweet boy!

Oh my, it must be the week for stepping in the hork. Mom bean did the same thing yesterday. You should have heard her yell Katie! Even though she was wearing socks, it soaked right through, MOL!

What a darling cartoon!!
I guess it goes without saying the hork was cold...not that warm is any better to step in.
It was a bit nippy here this am too.

Those wet horks are always a fan favorite sweet Katie! We never care for that actor in anything, but the Dad did meet the real Mr Rogers years ago when he lived in WV and Mr. Rogers came in for a fundraiser at the local educational TV Station where the Dad volunteered as a floor manager.

Ha! Learned on earlier cats that squirt bottles dont work! Actually, nothing does, so now I just let them do whatever, MOL! I'm sorry to hear Mr Rogers isnt good... I was looking forward to seeing that. He so looked the part in the stills I saw!

Leo says: Katie!! Showing off your tum tum and your pretty white bikini! I may faint... I'm glad you ate a good breakfast! I've been trying to eat better myself. I think we need a snack time together again, always! My place or yours? I'll be there with nip on! Purrrrrrrr!

Yes Katie, the hork must always be left where it is sure to be stepped in. Eric used to leave his right beside the bed for me to step in. I like the cartoon.

Good horking, Katie Isabella! Was it on the rug like we always do?

I was raised on Mr. Rogers too, but have no desire to see the film. That is a cute kitty= not as cute as you though. XO

Katie, our mom got wise eons ago and ALWAYS wears slippers in the dark. Yet, she STILL gets hissy over stepped-on yak! There is no winning with her.

We're not letting Izzy see that cartoon. He's so afraid of the squirt gun that all Mom has to do is open the cupboard where it's kept!

I'm glad you got back to normal life.

Nice job with that hork, Katie. She stepped in it barefoot? Score!

Hat door step is great. We can understand how it might startle your mom.

Hugs to you both!

Love the hork story, but this cartoon is the best!

Stepping on a hork barefooted would work better than coffee in the morning :-) You look quite happy with tummy up there, Katie san. It sure is great to have mom home more :-)

Friends, family, visitors, and brovvers are fun, but I feel ya, KI. Back to normal with Mom is always the best way to be. Surprising her with an unexpected hork is another story. Meanwhile, enjoy some much needed cuddles to stay warm.

Love and licks,

Oh Katie, I can't remember what I was going to say my mind has gone blank

I don't think anyone can play Mr. Rogers. He was one of a kind. A hook in a barefoot is no fun.

Was that the film with Tom Hanks, Katie? Your mum might like the documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” (spelled the American way) better. I initially thought I was watching the Hanks movie, and kept waiting for him to show up. But I at last clued in and enjoyed the film. Rogers was a unique and wonderful person.

Katie it is always better at home with our pawrents. Dad was thinking of going to that movie and did not as he was worried about the difficulty of capturing Mr Rogers. He was unique Purrs Katie
