Oh my goodness Kitties. Mom and everyone else here is sitting holding their bellies and moaning. Not me though.
They went to a good restaurant and there was an unending buffet of roast beef, ham, turkey and all the fixings...all of them and then some more. A table of desserts, she said...and oh my goodness!
All my favorite brovvers were there, mom's neice from NYC, wives, child, but no kitties. And mom's former hubby. They all ate like there would be nothing ever after.
Mom said she didn't want anything for supper. Everyone else went to a movie..mom and I stayed here.
Happy Thanksgiving Kitties and Woofies! XXOO

Well, at least you didn't get an upset tummy. How sweet of your mommy to come home instead of going to the movie. Happy Thanksgiving ! XO
Happy Thanksgiving!
Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, that sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving for the human family at large!
Glad you have not eaten too much.
We have a very quiet Thanksgiving and went biking this afternoon. Tomorrow I will digitalize the final 3 videos, international ones for personal use only. So that mega task is done by tomorrow late afternoon!
Happy for that but very sad for another reason... Went to Amanda the Vet on Tuesday morning as our Barty suddenly quit eating and he only wanted to lie in the bathroom, on my used towel on the mat... The Vet thought he had an 'infection' and gave him 3 shots, one antibiotics and one with steroids... He had a fever she said. But he has not perked back up and is rather going down and refuses to eat since Tuesday afternoon when he had his last treats, didn't touch his regular food. Yesterday and today, no food. We have a litter box in the shower for him to use and he's only peed today, nothing else. Yesterday I had to clean it for some other action. So very sad and he doesn't want to be picked up any more... Guess that also indicates no more carrying him in the dreaded basket to the Vet. He's been purring loudly yesterday, just sounding a bit different than his usual purrs, kind of hoarse... Today he also purrs and tries to talk his way I guess as I pet him and kiss him. It is so hard to see my black angel of 15 years and 8 months going down and he obviously chooses to exit. LOVE him so much! When Pieter napped this afternoon, I tried to lift his beddie up and place him on the bed to be in Pieter's arms as he loved to nap with him. But he jumped off the bad and sat on the cotton mat in front of the balcony door. This morning he even tried to walk to the kitchen, I thought he's perked back up but halfway the hallway he did lie down and then he lied down just inside the kitchen doors on the tiles so I brought him back to the bathroom with the bedroom door closed so the other five could not walk in and disturb him...
Life is hard at times!
Hugs and glad you had a happy Thanksgiving!
Mariette

Sounds like the humans had a filling time sweet Katie! Happy Thanksgiving from all of us!
I am glad you had a happy and fulfilling day
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! Hope you got some leftover turkey and/or ham from a "kitty bag"... If not, at least some Stinky Goodness Turkey from a can.
Sounds like your mom and her family enjoyed a big dinner :-) Happy Thanksgiving!
That sounds like the humans all had a foodie extravaganza, Katie. How nice that Mom and you got some quality time afterwards. Hugs to you both, and Happy Thanksgiving! XO
Sounds like the humans had quite a feast! I got some turkey!
Sounds like everyone had a very good Thanksgiving with lots of food and good company.
Katie, we're glad your family had a good Thanksgiving. Going out to eat is perfect: no muss, no fuss, just great food and great company.

Katie Isabella we also went to a buffet after my meal there at 1:30 pm is was stuffy than 6 turkeys. I did n't touch a morsel of food until this morning at 7 am.
Hugs Cecilia
Sounds like a nice QUIET time you and your Mom had while everyone else was out stuffing themselves silly!
Hugs, Teddy
Leo says: Wow, sounds like a huge group and a yummy meal! I'm glad you had your mom to yourself though, cause that's what us kitties like best, right? Well, what I like best is sharing a meal with you, how about you and I share a can of my fav turkey and cheese stinky goodness with a dessert of nipcheesecake?
Mom also went to a restaurant for Thanksgiving, KI. That meant no leftovers, and no floor food. RATS! But she did come home after a few hours and we had a peaceful, relaxing day together. Just like you and your mom. We both have a lot to be thankful for...
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Why do restaurants call it a "doggie bag?" Like us cats aren't deserving of tasty noms? We think your Mom made the right choice to stay home with you - ours would've made the same one.
Sounds like a yummy meal for the beans. Happy Thanksgiving Katie and mom!
It sounds like my kind of day, Katie: eat as much as possible, then eat some more!
How wonderful your family were all together, even an ex-hubby.
It amazes me how many places don't allow kittehs!!
What? And she left you home?! LOL I hope you and mom have a wonderful weekend and that mom's tummy is no longer stretched out. xo Diana
What? Wait!
Didn't she at least bring you a Kitty Bag?
Sounds like your mom had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our mom went to her niece's house, and brought us home some turkey.
