Mom is Worried

Kitties!  I don't feel well.  I don't know why.  When I came back from the vet Wednesday , I ate a big second breakfast, went to bed and recovered from the drug.  Had a good supper too.  Slept on my mom's face that night.

Next day, I had a good breakfast but hardly any supper--- but I did have my usual product in my litterbox...you know.

Yesterday I ate little breakfast and no supper of the wet variety, and hardly enough dry  kibble to add more. to my tummy.  Today, I started to eat, but quit my wet food after a couple of swallows only.  Mom saw me hork it up within a few minutes in several places.  When she came back from taking brovver home, I had a tidy dry food hork on the kitchen floor.   I have drunk water though all day as per normal.

I have meowed a bit more today, normal volume, and stayed close to Mom instead of in bed or my crow's nest.  At 4PM mom asked me if I was hungry and I meowed sharply and started for the kitchen.  So we went to the kitchen where she served supper, in wet food. I ate a quarter of it right down.  I am still just watching TV and I won't really stay on mom's lap at all.  Not all day.  Mom doesn't know why.

I got my brushies as always while monorailing on the tub in the bathroom.  I got other brushies in the living room...I was combed on mom's lap but she really had to work to get me there.

I'm in my recliner now.  Mom is worried.

I don't know sweet Katie, do you have a bit of a fur tummy that needs to clear itself? I sure hope you are feeling all better soon sweet girl. Hugs.

Like Brian said, maybe it's a fur ball that's rolling around in your tummy. With all that beautiful fur of yours, it's bound to happen, even with lots of brushings. Feel better soon, sweetie.

Maybe you got a touch of something from being at the vet. I hope you are better soon. XO

Katie, maybe you just have an upset stomach. Hopefully, it’s just a temporary thing and you’ll be right as rain tomorrow.

I hope you feel much better tomorrow. Possibly this is a side effect of the sedative.

I hope you feel better soon, Katie, and this isn't anything but a temporary episode. I'm sending purrs your way.

I am also wondering if it is a fur ball. Eric used to get a lot even though I was always brushing him. Small ones weren't a problem, but if he had a bigger one he would get mopey for a couple of days and not want his food until it came up.

Oh Katie....I do hope you are OK but maybe it's just one of those things that we kitties do once in a while - change things up a little bit - still eat, still poop, still do fun stuff like monorailing and face-sleeping but other things....maybe just changing the routine. If you have a bit of a tummy "thing" perhaps you need a change of foodables? Something a bit more tempting purrrrhaps? Just take it easy....try to reassure your Mom though because our humans DO worry about us a whole lot.

Hugs, Teddy

Oh Miss Katie, I do hope you are better today! Perhaps we both caught a nasty when we were errr canoodling in the tunnel! I've got something that my mum calls a "dire rear" and it freaks her a bit, as I am usually purrfect down in that department!! Sending lots of purrs and snuggles Miss Katie ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Poor Katie and Mommy! We hope it's just an upset tummy, and that you're feeling better real soon. We are purring and praying and sending love.

We're sending our purrs that you are feeling better soon. Maybe you're still feeling a few effects of the medicine?

So you are just not 100% more like 80%, I hope that changes soon

It isn't impossible that you are still feeling some after effects from the medicine, Katie - But we are worried too. We are sending purrayers and POTP to you to get back to normal soon !

Oh no, KI. Foods are important. I hope that poorly tummy makes an improvement soon. I don't want your mama to worry. My theory is that the calming medicine may be giving you a delayed reaction and will be out of your system in a day or so. Paws crossed that you're back to your old self soon... xoxo

Love and licks,
Cupcake
