Lion finally made it out of seclusion a few weeks ago when I dug him out of my toy basket and brought him to the hallway in the middle of the night. Mom was delighted..poor woman.
He stayed there for several days and then, he made it to the threshold of the bedroom. Then, nothing.So mom put him in the living room with Donkey and my others, and after a month, last night, I bunny kicked him, used him as a wash cloth on my face and then, stomped him with my back feets. You can see Lion's huge smile there as he lies on his back, catching his breath. Donkey is there too as is Ducky, Floppy and Fat both. I keep them safe by me.

Humans are weird about cat toys; they think if you don't play with them every single day, then you don't like that toy! But it's much more nuanced than that, isn't it Katie?
Katie Isabella...what a precious little lady you are. I think it would amazing to awake each day wondering just what toy/pressie I might have.
I'm sorry I giggled a bit at the sewing story. There is nothing worse than having to undo something that has been assembled. I HATE ripping out seams.
I had a wee problem with my bobbin too.
Finally looked in the book found out I was not threading the bobbin thread completely as it needed to be.

How nice that Lion has made it back into the "family"....no doubt he's exhausted from the "reinitiation" he got but I'm also sure he thinks it was worth all that violence to be back in the fold.

Awww Lion must be very happy to be bunny kicked, used as wash cloth, etc :-) And that makes your mom happy as well for sure! Though, such extra attention may make Donkey and others jealous. You gotta make sure to kick and stomp on them, too lol.

What a cute photo. We are not big on toys, but we have a fish nip toy that resides in the family room rug. We take turns slobbering on it and bunny kicking it.

Glad Lion joined the family and came out of hiding. We (me and feline siblings) like to pile our toys in our bed and then climb in with them - like bird on her eggs. LOL. No birds in our house just a confused dog and kitties. LOL
It's good that Lion is once again getting some attention.

A toy loves to be played with...
We are glad you found Lion again. Sometimes our favrite things disappear for a while. Sometimes WE find them or sometimes TBT does (He gets under some stuff farther than we can). WE (OK, AYLA) found "Softy Mouse" recently. Softy Mouse is older than Skeeter was, is nothing more than the soft cloth skin of a (so TBT says) Nip-stuffed toy that Tinkerbelle used to love.
But there must be hints of scents of her and every other cat who has found it, because it is still interesting to us today.
