We Made It to the Next year

Happy New Year Kitties and Woofies.  We slept right on through it and no big booms to wake us up.  It was raining anyway.  Maybe they will have their fun tonight.  Sigh.

We had a clean fresh beddie to sleep in to start the Year, and I helped make it (of course).

Leaving my mark

Mom had the lint roller out- preserving  my furs, I'm sure.

Happy new year, Katie. May your new year be full of treats and naps and excellent, tasty food - and of course love (but I'm not worried about you getting any of that, with your mum there.)

Happy, Healthy, PEACEFUL 2019 Mom and Katie!!! I was babysitting and there were LOUD booms over by their house.......not sure what happened at ours, I am sure hoping my boys didn't have to hear fireworks. We got home a little after midnight and there were none so I am hoping no fireworks were set off at all! Love you both sooooooo much!

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Okay, I've taken to heart what you wrote me... My baby, a.k.a. the opulent one, is sitting next to me.
She couldn't care less for the evening snack that her siblings got bribed with for departing the living room for the night...
Speckie wanted to read more blogs and visit with me!
All our six kitties were home, inside and upstairs that is, so the fireworks did not bother them as we remained calm.
I was worried that if one would be outside, it would scare them to run off.
Last night Bandido (middle name is Diablo) caught a tiny frog. Trying to rescue it didn't work as he went into the garage and under the cars... He's smart.
But worse he came back with a bigger frog during the night... Very loud announcing that he'd caught a FROG! Could not rescue it, he went UTB and today I had to lie on my belly for retrieving his body, without legs...
Hate this but they probably never change.
Wait until he and his sisters get the appointment for their Rabies shot.
Rainy and wet... such damp weather; perfect for frogging I guess.
Don't YET change your winter fur Katie Isabella for a lighter coat; keep it on and stay cozy and warm.
Our kitties also love to help make the bed, especially a fresh bed.
Hugs,
Mariette
