Shivering me Timbers!

Kitties, colder'n whodunnit here.  Yesterday it was raining a so cold as to have formed some ice before mom was set to head out.  She decided not to but made up for that today.  Me..I am cold.  BUT she called me for Brushie, I came charging out of the bedroom with my tail so high it almost cut the air in two.  I got me brushies and loved them.

As soon as she finishes with my dictation and flat ironing her hair, I get to play.  Trying to decide which wand toy I wanna wake up for.  Maybe my Neko fly.  I will see what pleases me.

Mom bought new whoopty-do sheets, that are pale pinky-lilac.  We washed them and put them on yesterday.  So we got to sleep on them last night.  OH how nice!  And I did a great job branding them as mine.  They had some goodly amount of black furs on them.

Mom's human v-e-t visits both went very well.  The first one was her regular family v-e-t  who was as tickled as a cat with a double set of whiskers at her loss of weight and how many miles she walks a week. And the visit on Friday was with her dermatologist v-e-t.  He froze off a dime sized pink place on her cheek though it was not a trouble point.  He wanted to make sure it wouldn't become one.  Now her face has an angry looking red spot.  But she'll just deal with it till it heals.  (She's so vain...and she KNOWS that song is about her...)  (Ah, Carly Simon!)

Anyway, Going to make her get in there and finish her hair..see you in a while.

I'm waiting patiently.

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Love being eye-to-eye with you and so happy with the two human vets visits.
Well, that red spot can be nasty as turned out with my nose where a spot got frozen on December 20. The dermatologist told me I'd look awful on Christmas but he did not tell me that a month later, after using his prescribed cream I would look even worse.
Well, on Sunday the scabs came off, overnight and now only a little red and I continue to use the new ointment. It is smooth and I'm happy with it.
Stay cozy, and even if I don't know what whoopty-do sheets are... maybe flannel or some cozy warm sheets; enjoy snuggling up on them!
Hugs,
Mariette

Well- I'm Mom's visit went well!!! I had one of those pesky things removed about 2 years ago...now all you see is a spot that is whiter than the rest of my face.

I LOVE getting new sheets--especially ones that feel crisp and cool. Hope you have another good night on those sheets. xo Diana

So happy your mom did fine at the human vet. We also got new sheets a few weeks ago. They have gorgeous ruffles at the top. They make me look very pretty when I hide underneath and peek out of the ruffly part.

Love and licks,

Your mom irons her hair? For real? If our Jan got out the iron for her hair, we'd dial 9-1-1 so we'd be prepared when the emergency happened.

I am glad your mom's human vet visits went well. It is cold here too and we even had a few flakes of snow! We usually only get rain so everything is frozen solid.

Give your Mom a big "high five paw" for her good work at walking. Our mom used to do that every day but after her car accident it got to be too hard. She keeps trying to start it up again but gets frustrated. She says you have given her inspiration! By the way, it's really cold here so we've been cuddling with Mom lots. Oh........and Mom says every time she sees your picture, she thinks it's Hemingway! MOL!!

A lot's going on with your mom these days, Katie and it's all good, especially the walking! The housekeeper would lose weight, too if she didn't sample everything she cooked. It's ok for me to sample. No weight limits for this mancat! - Tom

Katie you are very patient indeed. Purrleased as catnip that your Mom is doing great with her health.

Katie, what a precious photo of you! We're glad your mom is keeping herself so healthy! Now if you can get her to work on hurrying up with her hair. Our mommy just washes and air dries her hair because she's lazy. Plus her hair is her best feature as long as it's au natural. Once she starts messing with it it turns into, well, a mess.

A lot going on there, Katie. I'm glad to read that your mum's doctors' visits went well. I know such things can be a bit worrisome. I hope she can relax now. (Especially with those new sheets!)
