Ol' mom was down on one knee, the other knee up and she was leaning her left arm on the knee...trying to take my picture as I was in my recliner. Well, she used a bounce flash that went to the ceiling and with good result. Trouble is, she was bobbing and weaving down there like she was trying to escape with her life for pity sake!
I meowed to her that if she couldn't be any steadier than THAT while down there, she should only go sit in a chair or something for pity sake! So it's a bit blurry. Thanks mommy! She would have embarrassed me at the arboretum a week ago had I been there. She was on the ground and leaned in for a macro of a bee after she got him still enough to take his picture (it's in her blog and in Flickr). She finally did and then there came the task of getting up off the ground. Her knees are shot, I'll give her that.
Anyway, here is the "mom...your moving!" shot. BUT you can see my tongue. I'm thinking of seared salmon in its juices. And mice cream.

It's a great shot, we must say. Worth all your mom had to do for it. PS: was your mom military? Ours is curious.
Oh yea, that is super cute pretty Katie!
Ohhh but it is a picture of purfection Miss Katie :)
Sorry about your mom's knees, but this picture is just wonderful! Truly! I clicked on it to make it bigger and it's even better!
Your poor mom bean has bad knees, ours has a bad hip. They're relics aren't they Katie.
Lovely photo of you, sweet girl!
That bounce flash worked pretty well! Too bad about your human's knees. Ouch!
Dearest Katie Isabella,
Your Mom took a perfect photo of that tongue out as you were dreaming about yummy foods!
Hugs,
Mariette
Mice cream . . . yum!
Knees can be hurtful. Mom got a brand new one a few years ago because hers was worn out. Even with the bob n weave, you look sweet, KI. It's the tongue of course, but the pile of kitty paws is what's killing me!!
Your picture looks SWEET * Giggle *
=^x^=
Even when blurry, you are very pretty, Katie san!
Katie! What a gorgeous shot! Pffft! Blurry makes it more interesting.
Love Barb
Katie, it's a lovely shot, not blurry at all, at least we don't see any blurriness!
Our biped has found that in middle age it's far easier to get down than it is to get back up again. Ha!
Your mom did good! We get a kick out of the poses our's gets into when trying to get the perfect shot of us.
Be sure to visit our blog today!
Oh, sweet Katie you just look adorable with that cute little tongue sticking out. Your mom did great and we love the pic. Our mom would never have been able to get back up had she gone through what your mom did...our mom is real old. Hugs and nose kisses
Swoon! Oh Katie, that is a great shot and such a good picture of you. I can see why mom tried so very hard to get it. It's purrfect! M would not have been able to get back up either. She would have stayed on the floor forever and they would have had to haul a big crane (not the birdie kind either) to pick her up off the floor.
It's a very cute photo!
Does her camera have a threaded in the bottom for a mini-tripod? That might help your Mom hold the camera. I have a min-tripod on my camera and find it very useful.
Someone looks so cute and it isn't me
Cats do not make anything easy. xo
Awww...that is a sweet photo. She did a good job.
AND--she got those pretty little footies of yours, Katie!
TBT is about helpless when on his knees too. We let him take a lot of pictures sittin in a chair with the TV tray to rest the camera on. Yer Mom might want ta try that; it seems ta help.
What a wonderful photo of you, Katie. Mom did a great job, bad knees and all! :) Hugs to you both!
That picture is so worth anything your mom went through to get it! You are so dang cute!!!! Smooches!
Leo says: I think you know where that picture is going... Thanks! So, wanna come over and we'll have an unveiling when I hang it? I'll serve niptinis and hams and we can dance in the moonlight!
You have a blep! Sooooo adorables. But realy, I cannot take my eyes off those four floofy and fetching little paws. I want to bury my little heady in your tum and nap for hours and hours. Midnight? UTB? The usual spot? XOXOXOXO
Katie you look so peaceful. Mom did good.
Sweet foodable dreams Katie! Love how you lined up your paws JUST RIGHT for that shot too...my Mom says if she can't capture me in a shot without getting on her knees then there will be no capturing! HAHAHAHA
Hugs, Teddy
It was worth the effort to get that picture. When you click to biggity it, it gets even better! Lovely Katie, talented Mommy.
