Kitties. I am still taking up most of the bed and I am still not only large-- but in charge.
The only one who sleeps well here is me, usually. Heeeee. But that is the way it should be.
Am I the only prima donna who decides she doesn't like a Fancy Feast flavor of fuds after months of enjoying it and then, turning up my sweet nose!
Suns are there today Kitties. I hope to enjoy them but right now...here is a just taken picture to show you where I am. On the floor sucking up heat from the vent! See my pink padded paws stacked up by my chin?

Tanaka and I take up all the space on the bed and san usually has just a tiny portion. We sometimes mark san open 3 to 5 different cans just because we can. So you are in good company Katie. We envy you your cold weather because we are in a dry spell here.
Our human recently downsized from a queen-sized bed to a double/full-sized one, Katie. MISTAKE! For her. :-P
It's one of the many jobs of a cat, to take up as much room as possible on the bed. Who cares if the humans get sleep? Not our concern!
Hannah always sleeps in the middle of Mum's bed and Mum sleeps on one edge. Lucy sleeps on a quilt in Mum's chair and doesn't believe in foot warming duties for humans.

Oh Katie, that is part of your job there, to take up most of the bed. So keep up the good work. So now what is the deal about you not sleeping in the sun puddle?? That is where it is warm. Sometimes we have to fight with our Person over the sun puddles. Hope you two have a wonderful week end.
I've been known to go off a flavour of the fancy, too, but am ALWAYS LOYAL to grilled chicken.

Katie, you are lucky you only have one human in that bed to contend with! If there were two humans in it, I'm sure you would not get away with taking so much space. :-)
Our kitties are not fussy about their basic food. Millie did decide she didn't like the treats we had, so we got some different treats for her.

Oh Katie - I've been a bed hog too - or so M says anyway. Sometimes I sleep on her right side, sometimes on her left side. She's lucky I give her the middle so she doesn't fall out! Enjoy your heat vent.
Sun puddles are nice, Katie, but when it's still cold out, the floor heater vent trumps 'em!

We always sleep better than our mommy and daddy but that's the way it should be! We turn up our noses at fuds for no reason too especially after Mommy has just bought a whole bunch of what she thought we liked. We still like Fancy Feast though!

I have snubbed many foods, including Fancy Feast. The lady will usually try several time, so she not only wastes that first cans but several thereafter. She is constantly having to return any remaining food to PetSmart but still has wasted a ton of money on uneaten cans and bags. I'm down to just three flavors of FF.

I have always thought you were more than generous to let your Mom sleep with you in YOUR bed anyway - take all the room you need Katie! As for seeking heat? We all do that....gotta have the warmest spot whether it's on a heat vent or sun puddle.....yep - it's what we do!!

My Human gets her whole bed to herself usually as I do not deem her worthy of attention when she is asleep and not likely to feed me, pet me or brush me. Once in awhile, I deign to occupy a corner of the bed but I try to avoid unnecessary toughing. My Human is envious of your sleeping cuddliness.

Nope, you're not the first kitty to do that. We used to inherit some cans from a friend's cat who ate a flavor, then stopped after they stocked up. :)
