Kitties! I went to the v-e-t and had the rabies booster and FVR-DC booster. I also had a reduced dose of allergy shot too. I have barbered myself so much that it is what is causing all the vomiting. I have horked up long fat actual hairballs. It is all because of my allergies. With this reduced dose shot I will not be itchy and I'll have a much needed break. I actually woke mom up at 0256 this morning as she felt the movements of me jerking my beautiful furs out. Quick head movements rock our bed. And she could actually hear my teeth as I clipped the furs steadily. I don't have bald spots but all of my long hair is gone. Now I am a short to medium haired girl.
I'm told that fever and lethargy is a side effect of the booster shots but my chance of side effects is reduced the Dr. said because I also had the small dose of allergy medicine. That is a treatment, whatever that med is called for fever and etc from shots if it gets too bad.
I just wanted you to know I went and I'm back and I weigh...wait for it...wait for it... ten scrumptious delicious delightful and beautiful pounds plus one ounce. I gained a pound and one ounce since I came home with Mommy! Dr. said he was fine with my weight but he would rather I not gain more. So there goes my lunchtimes, POL (pout out loud).
Here I am, one of three pictures I allowed mom to take several days ago.
If I have already shown you, I 'pollergize for doing it again. <3

What a delightful feline.
Katie we are so sorry you are having allergy issues...but thank goodness you are getting them under control
Yay for a quick Vet visit
hugs Madi your BFFF
Good news! You went to see the doctor and you survived. Now, the question begs to be asked... did the doctor survive, too? purrs
V-E-T-S aren't so bad, no are they? Looks like the vet is on to making things better for everyone, that's good news! Rather see you with your beautiful long furs than the short. Even once your better, you might want to hork up a hairball here and there just to give your mom something to do!
I sure am glad you are back home and I hope that allergy shot makes a difference for you!
The dreaded v-e-t knows how to cure those allergies. Before you know it, purrty girl, your floof will be back, I'm guessing. We don't 'member that cute photo.
Kassey
We hope your allergy shot takes care of that hairball problem. Vets don't like fat kitties--be careful or you'll have to eat diet food!
Oh sweet Katie! We are so glad you are ok and really hope the allergy medicine makes a difference. Snuggles from Austin xox
We hope the vet visit is going to make you all better Katie! We really hope your long furs come back instead of going into your belly so much. You're such a sweetie!

PS/ Mommy asks if you could be allergic to something in your food that's causing the itching?
That is a relief to have that over and done with I'm sure. xx
Keep my paws crossed for that the allergy medicine will do the trick !
xoxo
I'm glad that you escaped relatively unscathed and hope the allergy shot helps with the barbering. You are very brave! PT.

We're sorry you had to go to the vet, but if he can help the throwing up, it was worth it! Poor girl, we hope your hairs all grow back in now! But you're still lovely, long or medium length hair!
What a cute picture. I can't believe cats get allergies too but I've read so many cats with them that I have to. Hope the shot helps.
Great to hear that is all over for another year at least!
We hope yer bootiful long furs grow back!
Katie
We are glad you got all fixed up and that this will take care of your 'itchies' and that beautiful long fur will grow back in.

We hope that your allergies can be brought under control so that you can appear again in all your beautiful furs. Various kitties have various problems. Our late Hemingway had a heart murmur, so he got half a baby aspirin every four days for 16 and a half years of his 17 and a half year life. The photo doesn't appear on the most recent three pages, so it probably hasn't appeared here before. Your Mom did put it on Flickr...maybe that is what she was thinking of.
I hope this allergy medicine does the trick and you no longer itch! And that, with any luck, you do not have to go back to the vet for a good, long while!
Katie ~ You are an absolute doll !!!
Much Love to YOU,
JC and The Purr and Fur Gang
Well, Katie, effurybody wants a short haircutz in the summer time! xxoo Bhu
We hope that allergy shot stops you getting the itchies and your floof can grow again.
Glad that's all taken care of for you Katie.
I'm gald you are okay! and p.s. vets can be scary but they always know what's best for us (the worst part really is just the car ride) xoxo your pals, Sherlock&Ash, Traveler
Phew! We are so glad that's over fur you, Katie! (your Mommy, too) Rest well, sweet Katie, you've had a busy day. XOXO

Kisses Sweet Katie
Nellie
PS Kozmo purrticularly liked the shot of yous all spralled out!
Oh honey it sucks to have allergies. We hope the allergy shots help calm things. That is awful to have such tummy trouble caused by the excess of ingested furs. We like your beautiful furs where they are....on your pretty body and not down in your tummy!
XXXOOO Feel better soon!
So glad things went well at the vet. Truffle is scheduled to go in for her one year check up in a few more weeks. We're not telling her yet.
Darling darling darling girl! You look simply beauteously divine! Yes you do, even wifout my you-know-whats. The Admiral 'splained it all to me, and I guess it's not so bad, specially since I seem to still find you verreh alluring.
My sweet, I am sorry you hadded to go to the Stabby Place with its own Minion of Satan today. Perhaps tomorrow I will feel up to teleporting over and we can have a good snuggle and forget our troubles.
Do you know I can out from UTB after less than four hours? The Human SEEMS trustworthy again, and I don't see that PTU around anywhere, so I think I'm safe. I might have some nightmares, though. Purrs XOXOXO
We sure do hope the allergy medicine helps out with the grooming too much. You will get some hairballs just form regular grooming, but you don't need extras!
Poor Katie! We're purring that your allergies get under control soon! Don't pull your boootiful furz out!!
Healing purrs,
Selina & MomKatt Laura
We hope that shot stops you loosing all your delightful furs Katie. At least now you've had your shots you won't need to visit the stabby place for a long time.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I am reluctant to correct King spitty, but the opposite of Ceiling Cat is Basement Cat. :-)
