Looking Back

Kitties, this is what I looked like just a year after coming home here to be with my forever and always family.  Mama failed to lighten the picture so you could see my eyes.

I was an agile girl...and spent a lot of time on this little desk.  I could see the front of the house sidewalk and any person or kitty who dared trespass.  I just wanted you to see me in 2013.   Mom should only look this good.  In 2013, she probably may have.  But in her own furs and stuffs.  Mine is the more beauteous.

Happy Selfie Day furriends.  Smooches.

No Sunpuddles for a long time

Kitties!  Mom saw last weekend she told me, that rain would start then, and continue from Monday through the following Monday,  All seven days,  It is Thursday, so three more days of constant rain.  NO sunpuddles to enjoy.

Mom has to go to the Big City with Brovver today.  He's with us now.  He has his place still, but it's easier just now to be here with us.

Did you see what Mom put in Face Book?  The picture of the stump of the rotten Hickory tree that used to overhang our house?  When they cut it down the knocked and had mom come out and see.  A nigh on perfect cat was the shape of the rotted place in the trunk. A back view...including tail.  You can see the right arm of the cat who seems turned slightly to the right.  The left arm extending to the ground.  The tail.  A mouse hole at the midline that the cat seems interested in. .

Just in case you didn't see it.  Mom doesn't have a kazillion friends on FB, so you may not have seen it,

Best of Times

Kitties, it is the best of times.  The warmest and the snuggliest of times.  That time  is right now in my beddie with the sunpuddle of the day pouring over me like a thousand hugs from my mom.  Oh, there will be joy in the morning for me when this happens. (as a favorite book title of my mom's read some time ago).

A full tummy and my best sunpuddle

WE are entering the Selfies hosted by Cat on My Head.

A Piteous Meow into the Afternoon

Kitties!  It was terrible.  Horrible. Insupportable.  Unthinkable. Piteous.

Hands reached into the PTU and gathered me up in a towel, however fluffy it was, I care not one whit.  I was being handled!  Strangers!  Humans who did not love every fur on my body.  They held me firmly and assaulted me with determination and no regard for my feelings.

Here is the proof and  the truth of the pain and suffering the experience cost me.

House of Horrors

Kitties!  Within a few hours I will be stuffed with no regard to my happiness, peace of mind or safety--- even my feline rights, into the PTU and be taken for an automobile ride to have MY CLAWS CUT!

Now I ask you to see this!  THIS is me, always wanting to be touching my mom.  She was on the chair reading and I came over to be with her...wanting pets and smooches too, of course but I always put out a paw to stay while she's there.  How can she take this poor loving kitty to the House of Horror?

Here I am Again

Mom is about to go wash her hair...so I told her to get cracking here.  She makes a big long ordeal out of it.  Wash, dry, apply stuffs, set  it for an hour...flat iron, style...like FOREVER! No, she isn't cutting it regardless of how it's a pain.  She likes long hair.  But I have to tell you, each time she goes through this she sputters and complains about making it a bob.  She was once made to make it short and she wasn't happy about that! As a reward to herself when she finally left that occupation- she let it grow to half way+ down her back.  Just because she could.

Meanwhile we woke this morning and there was snow on the deck.  Unexpected.  Just a skiff of snow.  Of no consequence but still...there it was.  It's 25 F out there.  Sunny however, thank goodness.

This photo is me yesterday in the window.  I was patrolling.  I have eyes in the back of my head, you know.  Not a problem to face the other way.  Not at all.  I am on my new but used each day blankie that Miss Stacy made for me!

Not sure if I will succeed but here is my selfie.  Um.  Well, I had a bit of help.  Here is Miss Janet's logo.  In case I succeed this time.
