Another Day Another Treat

Kitties!   Mom did take me to the stabby place the other day and they said (after only 5 weeks) one claw was right at my pink pad.   That's bad.  The concerns about not being vigilant.  They claimed they cut them shorter. on their own volition.  Mom has been pleading for a shorter claw trim for two years and they never do.  They only take the points and charge 25 dollars for it.  They were faintly shorter, but mom still felt them when I walked over her. 

This week following I have the horrible senior appointment.

Oh Noes...

 Kitties!  I feel a disturbance in my atmosphere!  I'm asleep in my beddie.  I left this pre-dictated blog for  use, on a memory stick.  Because I knew I'd be napping when she came in to help me write so I was being gracious.  

But she saw on her calendar that the day for me to get my claws trimmed is HERE now!  Thank goodness I'm asleep.  She's NEVER disturb me in my sleep!?  

Wait...is the PTU closer to the beddie? 

I know I don't go for another week or so for the Big Dealio of stabbing and other stuffs!  Maybe I can look extra sweet, and if today is the day for nail trimming, she will not want to disturb me.  Her legs do look like red polka dots though, with all the puncture wounds.  I say who's fault is THAT?!  She had the nippers in her hand and me on her lap a few days ago and I snatched my paw back faster than you can say HOLY MOLY!  This happened quite a few times till I left, my tail up and hers was down because she failed again.

I'm Dreaming....

KItties! The sunpuddle is here. I was waiting in my beddie for it to slide over me. Now, though you can't see it here, it has! I'm dreaming! Discovering a Planet of Temptations is our goal.

Wordy Wednesday

 Kitties!  Mom got her covid shot yesterday with one reaction that was unlooked for, but it's over now.  I helped her out, so no problem.

Mom's been on a Mini Wheats binge.  I swear, she'll be sugar coated like them if she keeps this up.  She's been eating them like kibble or something.  She's been eating them for her supper.  Bet she'll get tired of them and not eat them again for two years! 

I have to have an appointment soon for The Vet Visit.  Mom'll call in the morning and try to squeeze it in with everything else she has going.  I hope they let mom stay while the gabepentin is working for that several hours.  When this all started, the covid disease, they wouldn't let her in and I was beside myself.  My second visit was scheduled in August of '20,  and they gave me that horrible shot and wake up shot that about wiped me out.  This time, they said mom could be with me sitting quietly somewhere while the gabepentin takes effect then, we will be separated.  They wish mom would medicate me but she has helped me tell you in my blog here that I will N-O-T take anything into my stomach any more that has gebepentin in it, you can't fool me twice; and she can't pill me in any way.  Hence...it's nothing, or they have to do it. 

I'll let you know how it all works out.

Looks like a lot of our parents got their shot either yesterday, as Mom did, or  this week sometime.  I'll be getting mine with my doctor soon.  UGH.

Well, nothing more to say so I'll get into my beddie and nap 'til it's bedtime.

A Small Hussy?

 Mom said I was a "wanton hussy".  She did say that, Kitties!  Because Thursday, the man who remodeled our bathroom a year ago last November, was here again.  This time to replace two porch lights.  One for each porch.  I will meow to you that when he came in...I went straight to him and crowded up against him as he knelt looking at Brovver's wall-thru in (MY) the room that used to he his back in the great beyond years before I was born... that he used for HAM radio while he was a teen.  (Meaning a hole formed in the wall to the outside, for antenna leads to go out.) 

Randy called me "Sweetheart" in such a low,  nice sounding voice; and he stopped what he was doing  to pet me so nicely. I was struck all over again by how much I liked him.  I remembered him from when he fixed our bathroom a year ago.  And I remembered there were times all week back then when he sat in the hallway and let me crawl into his lap for petting.  I followed him and pressed up against him the whole time he was in the house.  He and his wife are expecting a baby in August.  Was a wonderful Daddy he will be. 

But Mom did say to other Brovver's that I was behaving like a wanton hussy.  I looked that up Kitties- and I resemble that! 

The favorite brovver who is here from overnight- will be leaving this morning after his 4 eggs, scrambled, his 4 slices of bacons, and...biscuits & preserves  and a glass of orange juice.  Mom's leaving here from helping me and headed into the kitchen right now.

The Fun Keeps On Going

 Kitties! I always like to keep mom non-complacent. It's good for her.  I succeeded in that duty yesterday afternoon.

She was here in my room which has the desk top computer, and she was jolting the floors and disturbing the atmosphere as well as assaulting my tender triangular earsies with a video she was looking at while doing all of that!  She'd finished the longer one, and she had started another one that was half that long, and continued working up a good head o' steam.  

I finally had enough and took action.  I leapt right up on the desk and went straight to the keyboard and stepped on it; stopping that annoying music and its "counting" drum beat.  Killed it dead.  Quit, Fini! Stopped! Halt! Gone! Ahhhhhhhhhh. Silence.  Mom tried to get it back but UTube was being a pill so she lost her momentum and just quit. 

HA!  As Mom Ellen said yesterday,  that was good retaliation for that big old Leopard that found another way to stay between us at night.  I had defeated him one night and darned if he didn't find another way to stay there and keep me off my rightful place! 

Today she threatened to keep the keypad away totally.  

Mom found this again of me sleeping..actually sleeping...she crept close and my eyes were closed...in the hallway. I sleep with my arms up a lot.  This was taken before the baffoom was remodeled.  So it was a year ago.   My tail is pointing to the room,  MY room, that she is always in disturbing the peace.  

Surprise Surprise! I see it in Your Eyes! And the Floor.

 Kitties,  I waited all day until 2:45 this afternoon while mom was busy doing her indoor  prancing around stuffs, the aerobic-like stuffs.   I had been sitting in the doorway to my room  watching  and mom said "Hi" each time she saw me.  Well, I walked in finally.  I went straight to where she prances backward and horked up a BIG one.  All kibble, but mostly digested.

  Sheesh.  She couldn't stop to clean it up  (she had to keep up the heart rate and the action flow)  so the hork pile was in her way for half an hour.  She took a couple minutes break after the first video to try to get it cleaned up before she started the second video.  Oh My.  There in the hallway was a very respectable hork also.  She cleaned them both up hurriedly.   She finished her second video then, and went to get a drink and what to her wondering eyes should appear, but a tiny hork where she puts her rear.  (The platform rocker where she reads had a small hork on it).  And I decided that I would put a really watery one on the glass coffee table. She'd waxed, polished, & cleaned glass etc. yesterday during her cleaning frenzy.  I know this would get to her. 

So all those are cleaned up.  The place reeks of hork cleaner.  I however and recuperating in my crow's nest atop my tree. 

I didn't do it mommy.  It was the neighbor cat. 

Mom Here: She claims the neighbor cat slipped in under the door and did all the horking.  Her face looks completely truthful.  I will have to speak to the neighbor, I see.  She's got her monocle on, and that lends credibility to her earnest face as well.
