💗Mommy said if I would not be so clingy at night in the bed she might get a good sleep, I'm an older girl now and I just want to be on her. If I didn't choose her head it would be better I know. I keep her paralyzed in the bed to where she can't move because she doesn't want to disturb me. She does sometimes though. She said she also knows that one day not far down the road she would give anything to be lain on again, smothered, heated up to a turn, kept awake, bullied about food and a total servant. The house is completely taken up with all my things.💗
Meanwhile had some cat friendly servants of cats in here tonight to level the dryer. It was Mom's fault. It was slightly out of sync...at a faint angle and without thinking she straightened it. That did it. So the guys were here to level it and show mom how to operate the thing as well. She messed up.
Guess what *I* got tonight? Mom ordered a new potty for me from Chewy. It came while the guys were here. Mom took it out of the box when we were alone. It is PERFECT! The door is low just like the one I have now. I won't have a hard time getting in. Mom can't wait to just throw away the one I have now, it stinkith!
Mom put the kitty related memes into HER blog a few hours ago!! Now what am I supposed to do? Oh, I'll show you my new just delivered toy!

Congrats on your new potty! Your first paragraph is SO true. Mudpie loves being underfoot while I'm trying to make meals and while it sometimes irritates me, I always remind myself how much I'll miss that one day.

It is nice to have a lovely new potty, and a lovely new box too! Your mom is right, she will miss your closeness when you lie on her. Hopefully that won't be for a long time yet. I miss Flynn lying on my chest early in the morning headbutting me to wake up.
Katie a box, a box! I'm going to zip right over to your house and show you how to make it extra livable. First you get your mommy to put in an ultra soft blanket that you personally really don't like. But then you put on a big fluffy towel that you do like. Have her take a little pillow case to drape down over the front so you have privacy and Away you go. Precious

I've found that too many litter-boxes have too high an entrance; it's especially hard on senior-cats - though my Neville tends to climb out (though not into) a box by the sides, rather than the front, so I suppose it may not matter...
Oona: "Oona also likes to sleep on her Mama at night, usually on her belly, although now that it's gotten a bit cooler Oona sneaks under the covers sometimes. LIKE A NINJA!"

Well, Miss Katie- congrats on your new potty. You know, the problem here is the opposite as far as the bed space goes. Mom and dad are trying to get me to spend MORE time on the bed with them. I'm coming around slowly, and when I do get on the bed, it's to curl up at mom's feet about as far from them as I can get. Baby steps, I hear. Cool toy, but I say the box would be of more interest to me.
A new potty AND toys And a box! You lucky girl! Yes, We also like to snuggle up to Mummy at night, as close as pawssible, under the duvet where We can all be warm. All three - well, four - of Us.
Appliances, I am sure, have minds of their own.

Our dryer wasn't drying too well, either, but the dude told uas nothing wrong with the dryer, it's your vent to the outside...EEK! A fire hazard. So we had another dude come by to clean it out...he had big 'swabs' and a strong vacuum...now the dryer dries perfectly!
Good to have a nice fresh potty, and now you also have a cute house with it's box!

It looks as if your real gift was a meowvolous new box! We make it pretty impossible for our mom and dad to get a good night's sleep. We all pretty much take over the bed! Even Raleigh shows up!
