Katie, we hope this does not mean Mousie or Donkey needed surgery. And of course we are not sure Mom qualifies if you need surgery! Hope you girls are fine and cool. Precious had an "accident" outside her litter box today. She looked so sad and worried.
I adore medical folks with a sense of humor...Mary Poppins said a sugar makes the medicine go down. Hugs Cecilia PS love the Ginger in the surgical cap
Hi, Katie and Mom Carole! We saw your question on the post about our adoptable friend Gorgon. We are not exact;y sure how Gorgon came to PAWS, but I can tell you that there are a number of ways that pets can wind up there. Some are owner surrenders (i.e., people who can no longer care for their cats for whatever reason. This can include someone who is ill or has to go into a living situation where they are unable to keep their pet.). We have also had animals come in whose owner has sadly passed away. PAWS also works with a lot of rescuers, who will sometimes find cats who have obviously been abandoned. They also work to are animals that are in municipal shelters where the animals' time frame for getting adopted is short. At PAWS and other no-kill shelters, those animals get all the time they need to adjust and find their forever homes. I hope this helps answer your very good question. Hugs!
We came to thank you for stopping by my Birthday Pawty! I do hope you gotted some cake...but when Mom saw the photo...she laughed so hard, her coffee came out her nose! I LOVE it when that happens! Bestest birthday present EVER! Keep being AWESOME! Marvelous Marv

Maybe that cat is learning how to do that same kind of surgery after he graduates from kitty vet class!
Java Bean: "Ayyy, I still wouldn't want to go to the vet, but Mama and Dada can send my toys there to get fixed up if they want to."
Ahahaha too funny! But I'm betting your Mom is great at fixing up toys too!
