Kitties! I have been naughty. Here is what the new chair came to because I suddenly decided to do deep clawing on it. Mom hollered "NO" loudly. I hissed at her and swatted at her too. I am not used to being spoken to in such a manner.
Two of her fave bedsheets are now applied to the chair that are thick enough cotton to do without a blankie if she wishes. And she does many times. Ew-glee to see.
Here *I* am, feeling badly (yeah, right) about what I was doing till she shouted to me. Ashamed. Hiding my headie.

Atta girl.....what humans fail to understand is that WE are entitled to touch, fondle, even mangle everything in our kingdom (or queendom) and they simply have to understand it is WHAT WE DO. We can't fight it - we must claw things to mark them as our own. Period. Humans are sometimes very slow to understand stuff Katie but I think your Mom has gotten your message........maybe.

Queen Nellie was the shreddinator here, though I, Marv and Jo Jo, have been known to extend our claws where we should not.We have blankets on ALL the furniture because of cat's claws...And we too stop when we are yelled at!
