Kitties! Mom did go to the Cat Cafe yesterday. She loved every minute of the visit. It was kind of dark and kinda reddish light in there. Made it hard to take good pictures. There were all girl cats there...always a sweet pleasure... all the boys have been adopted. Some were teenagers, some maybe 3 months old. There were a few probably former mama cats there...calico...and mom got her mitts on a youngster probably 3-4 months old. She was glad to be snuggled by mom and mom carried her a little bit and smooched the fur off her back and head. The really younger ones- not quite teenagers yet-nibbled mom's hands with their kitten teefs. Mom got to love on them all.
There were three sets of curtains hung in the room (not over windows) for the cats to climb. I loved that touch! They loved it too. (But curtains to climb, foster a regrettable trait in the kitties...)😻

I end up crying by the time I leave the kitty cafe here. I want them all, Katie,
and Precious wants nothing to do with the orphans. Glad you mom can see and
cuddle them and you are sweet enough to let her show us pictures.

Aww, sounds like a good trip for your mom. And you are being very gracious about all this. Gotta agree though, encouraging curtain climbing is not really a good idea.

Katie, you are very brave to let your mom go to a cat cafe. We wouldn't trust our mom around all those babies--she might bring one or nine home!

Those signs are fabulous......clever...........and I think the curtain thing is a swell idea BUT agree it just might be "creating a monster" when those cats go to their forever home and want to climb the curtains!! EEEEK!

(Hold it a second I have to tell your boy toy Rumpy to stop being a nudge to Einstein, ok) We agree that the curtains to climb are not a good idea and hope they switch to a board with a hemp wrap that they can lean against a bookcase secured to the wall. Strategic cuts in the bookcase would allow passage between levels." Sorry Dads fix-it, make-it brain was engaged. We hope to see more tomorrow!

I'm so thankful our Gem City Catfe had these two little sisters available to adopt last December. They're growing up so strong and gorgeous. :) Best wishes, my dears!
