That is such sad news. We know how you loved him. And so did the Admiral - she will have been there to greet him as he crossed over the Bridge and now they will be having such a great time frolicking in the endless nip fields.

You are now undertaking the long journey through grief. While others may share that grief we all walk it alone. There are no right or wrong paths, no proper way to carry oneself on the trek, no set amount of time to complete it. Some steps will come easier than others. There will be rogue waves of grief that you won’t see coming, and knock you back days. But you will come through it. If you get lost let us know. King Spitty was definitely one of a kind. Angel Sammy was his friend until he left for the Bridge and I've enjoyed getting to know him these last few years too. We loved his sense of humor....his love of sun puddles....his whiskers and beautiful glossy fur....and his personality. We will REALLY REALLY miss him.
Dearest Katie Isabella, That is so very sad for losing such a beautiful Spitty Kitty; a very special face and no doubt a sweet soul that warmed the hearts of many. Big hugs, Mariette
Dear Katie, Thank you for this lovely tribute to Spitty. He adored you *and* The Admiral and your mama too. I think he has probably found the Admiral by now, don't you? I miss him something fierce, but I know he had a long and happy life and you and your mom and Admiral were a very important part of it. Listen carefully, because I think he might just whisper a sweet nothing through your tunnel just when you need it most. XOXOXO
