Still Life...Updated. Dr. Seuss Day.

Kitties, mom was waiting on brovver to finish at the barber shop and walked down to her fave antique store.  She really likes the owner and all the ladies who work in there.  The store has booths as they are called, with the various owners' contents for sale.   Mom goes into a trance in there and comes out lighter in the wallet every time. She loves it there.

The door was temporarily locked when she got there so she looked at the things available through the window.  Look carefully, biggafy,  and you will see the perfect little statue right there, front and center.  Perfect in every detail.  Mom thought she didn't care what it cost, it was going to be hers.  Luckily the owner drove up within that minute as she had been paying a few bills and was temporarily locked up during that time.

MOM:   When the owner unlocked the door the perfect little figurine named Nermal, leapt down and scampered toward her sister Cara who was in the back of the store.  I have videos of those two babies playing, but I cannot seem to get to my account on UTube to put them there so I can upload from there to  Blogger.com.

Happy Dr. Seuss Day Kitties.  Like my hat?  I won it from Mom Ellen of 15 Cats and Meowing.

Oh, how delightful! Too bad it wasn't a statue...then again, two cats living at the antique store is way cool!

Those kitties are lovely.
I can't find all my videos on You Tube either. I hadn't been there for some time and now they seem to have disappeared.

We were fooled too! How nice that they "work" there!

PeeEss: Our mom loves stores like that too. She can always find something she absolutely needs!

Before I read the last part, I biggified the photo and truly thought Nermel was a beautiful figurine! Cara is beautiful too!

I just love stores like this.

Oh my! What a sneaky spot for Nermal to hide in - she looks like a statue indeed. Must be a fun place to hang out in too. My Mom loves to go to places like that and tries very hard to resist purchasing anything larger than her hand (hahahaha...good luck with that Mom!).

Hugs, Teddy

Those kitties are worth the trip, even without the other good stuff in that shop! That said, hopefully, your mom will NOT buy one and bring it home! GAH! That would be a problem.... If they could be statues, then OK.

Love and licks,
Cupcake

You look great in your hat. XO

I was wondering if that might be a real cat. Perfect, indeed! You can't more perfect than a real cat. Aren't you glad your mum didn't bring it home after all, Katie?

So sad it wasn't a statue but a real kitty that couldn't be bought and placed somewhere special, oh well such is life

Hee hee We knew that was a real kitty right away! Nermal is a cutie and so is his antique-store companion. The Human is not be trusted in this type of store either. As you know, the Human has been very remiss after I had her well in paw for a while, so I hope we are back on a visiting schedule! XOXOXO I plan to check in on you later . . . I have creams.

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Wow, Nermal and Cara are the sweetest kittens as seen from your video!
How they can trick us into believing they're for 'SALE'... Haha.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette

Such sweet kitties Cara and Nermal are, but I have to be truthful, not as gorgeous as you, Katie. I do love your Cat in the Hat hat.

Every antique store ought to have at least one cat!
