She Did it Again

Kitties!  It's been a while but....I caught her at it again.

Mom was at the park walking around looking like a person chasing their tail, and she came across some woofies.  WHAT is it with her and these woofies!

Of course, most moms and dads can't take their feline for a brisk walk except John and his beasts.  But still, does she have to consort with woofies?

I was in her lap here at the computer just snoopervising  and look what I saw!  The total absolute nerve!  And she reeked to high heaven of woofie when she got home  The standard poodle did her in.  She says not, but I know she was impressed!  A Queen such as I feels these things.  Intuits them.

The German Shepherd and friend who unfortunately got left out of her bonanza of picture taking!

The sheer nerve of Mom sets my furs on edge!  Trying to think how to handle it.  Spitty?  Marv?  Kozmo?  Austin?  Any? I would like to ask Chili Bruce but he's busy I think...

Sighs. Hoomins. The injustice of it all.

Well, my human doesn't really care for dogs. I mean, they are okay from a distance, but she has no desire to touch them. She doesn't like the way they smell. So I don't have to worry about her.

Some humans just can’t resist things with fur...including dogs!

It's a terrible thing to be betrayed like that, Katie. Try and take consolation in that she only brings the photos home, but comes back to your real and loving self.

As the first comment stated, she does come home to you, Katie!

You know what, though? It's wonderful that she loves four-legged Beings and holds them in high regard, all of them. Did you know there are humans who don't like cats or dogs? Hard to believe, but sadly true. They are missing out on so much, on one of the best parts of life. So it's okay that your mom "cheats" on you from time to time, it shows her heart. ♥

Katie, I think this grave injustice should be rewarded appropriately. So why not a couple of well placed horks in her shoes! However, it might not be entirely her fault! So you should probably cut her some slack! She might have been attacked by them as she was minding her own business walking along!!! ;-) xx

I am aghast at the treatment you are receiving by the wandering hands of your Mom. Petting woofies? Taking photos of them to admire whenever she wants? It is borderline abuse I tell ya. I'm so sorry you are enduring these insults. It has to stop!

Hugs, Teddy

I have done that on such occasions Angel Madi. The tummy is an excellent springboard.

Oh no, again? You should demand extra treats and hugs, Katie san :-)

Katie, we humans can't resist anything with four legs and fur on it. We hope you understand that she was just having a great time. Now you can ask for extra treats or more cat toys in the future. Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend.

One time I came home smelling of my niece's dog and Sammy peed on me. I sure learned my lesson, maybe you need to take a drastic measure like that. XO

We echo the "she comes home to you" comments. When the lights go out at night or breakfast is served in the morning, her being home with you is what counts.

On the other paw, she has some nerve!

Katie, at least your mom cheats on you outside of the house. Our mommy brought one of those IN our house and she's still here!

Your mom is a sucker for a woofie, but I’m sure she loves you best of all, KI.

Dearest Katie,
I, Kozmo, live with a woofie. Cinnamon arrived 6 months after Me. She and I were the same size, at the time, and Queen Nellie did post about our chases and wrestling. Cinnamon and I are still besties...though we do fight over Dad once in a while. I would ignore your Mom's fraternities and be extra lovey...so she remembers how super special you are.
Yours forever
Kozmo

Katie, your mom has got to stop taking photos of the woofies. It's bad enough that she comes home smelling like them, but to take photos so she can remember them and think about their rendezvous is just wrong. We wish we knew how to cure this outrageous behavior. Our mom will even let woofies kiss her right on the face. Dog cooties. Pffft! Humans...they are just inferior beings! How INSULTING! Your Mom has you and yet she goes out cavorting with DOGS?! Might be time to put your paw down, Katie :)

Spitty-the-Kitty said...

Well, to be fair my darling, isn't it better that your Mommy is consorting with other DOGS than with other CATS? I mean, who knows what might happen if she found a fluffy kitty to snuggle out there? She could scoop it right up and march right into YOUR castle with it, and say, "Katie! I brought you a new friend!" ::shudder:: I mean, NOBODY wants that, right? Whereas the woofies are all too big and already spoken for. You could ask her to take a shower and change her clothes though, before she tries to snuggle with the Queen. XOXO

Angel Simba said...

Spitty makes a good point. However it seems that you should simply throw yourself across the door so that she cannot go out at all. Then no consorting with woofies.

We are so furry happy that our mom bean is not a woofie person. She says she doesn't dislike them but she prefurrs kitties. Plus she's too lazy to go for a walk in the snow.

Cleo said...

Well, even though the general consensus is that she is with you at the beginning of each day and the end of each night, maybe as mentioned way above a nice yack in a shoe will make you feel better. Otherwise, you just might have to let it go. Dad often comes home from work smelling of other animals, and even proudly shows mom pix now and then. I've just learned to brush it off, knowing that I'm theirs and, more importantly, they're mine.

They are cute and all, but she loves YOU best by far, Katie!

I know Parker wouldn't let me consort with any dogs or other cats - though what I do when he can't see is my business...
