Changes

Kitties!  It's still 90 degrees+ but it is definitely getting on to the end of Summer.  I can tell.  I was lying in my favorite window on top of my favorite white blankie and the shadows were falling differently in the yard than they had been these past months.  All slanted looking across the grass at only 8:45 this morning.

Mom took off for her favorite park and started walking.  As hot as it was in air temperature, she said the faint breeze felt cool as she walked under the trees as the shadows that were already elongating kept the broiling sun off of her for over half of her walkie.

Me..I was still in the window when she got home and into the drive way.  She saw me as I straightened, and hopped down to go greet her at the door.   She was really all wet from sweating...er...glowing... and had to change all her clothing including socks.  Glad that wasn't me.  What a bath I would have to take.

A lot of shadow even near 10 am today.
Mom...zat yoo?

If not, I got something for ya!

The sun is starting to disappear from the cosy apartment, Katie. My beasts don't like the vanishing sun of the cold months. The heated cat-beds will have to come out instead.

That's a ferocious look in the last photo, Katie; who would have thought?

Oh yes, we can tell here too, fall is on the way.

Katie I think you are right. Normally at 6 am breakfast time mom could see the sun starting to peep over the horizon but not any more in fact today she thought she got up too early.

We have about 10 golden leaves on our small dog wood but that could be distress from heat too.
Paws crossed fall is near

Your right Katie, the shadows are getting long and the evenings dark earlier.

It's really chilled down here, Katie. About a 20 degree difference from a couple of days ago.

It's changing here too. It'll be in the 70s next week so we will get open windows all day long! That second pic of you is gorgeous, Katie.

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Love your two photos and your talking! The last one is very cute.
We all long for somewhat cooler days but not for the cold and wet winter days!
Let's enjoy all the nice moments of every day.
Hugs,
Mariette

Leo: Katie! You has a fierce in that last photo! Thanks for coming over! Now my turn to visit you? I'll bring some nip and maybe we can find one of your sun spots for a nap? Even if I have to stay until daybreak! *big furry wink*

Still in upper 80s to 90 here during the day but it’s getting a bit cool in the morning. Summer is ending for sure. It’s gonna get more pleasant for your mom to walk outside :-) Love your photos, especially the last one is so cute!
Have a lovely weekend, Katie san xo

Your mom bean is lucky to have you watching out for her in the house.

As long as there is a sunpuddle to nap in, all is good in our kitty world. (No sun here today though.)

Have a great easy Sunday Katie!

Oh yes, pretty Katie. Those shadows are getting longer here, too. Cooler temperatures mean more snuggles, right?
