Some Art

Mom said there is a Rock club here in town.

Two groups of Rock painters and finders of those painted rocks too, post on FB.  The members including mom- mostly all (Mom just finds them, she doesn't make them) paint rocks and leave them in plain sight in parks, sometimes sidewalks, outside (only) stores, parking lots in good places...and mom said she found one on top of the mail collection box once.

They are such fun to find.  You find it...keep if you want or re-hide one (in plain sight for kids and adults to find) so that they have the fun of looking for and finding them.  You usually post a picture of what you found in FB on the forum.

Now..to the pictures..  Mom's keeping these!  They are not painted except the background.  Things are glued on.  Mom loves these too.

  5. Whoa! Glad you're linking to the CB so I can find you. Wish we had rocks around here. We're supposed to have a geocache site but TW can't find it even though she knows where it is.

  7. Both of those are beautiful! They do that here too - rocks are found in all kinds of places; along trails, in trees, on benches - everywhere! My Mom doesn't make them either but we have a few. Humans are so clever aren't they Katie??

  8. Oh my gosh, those rocks are so cool! What a neat idea!

Re bird feeder on windows: Know what got us taking about them? Greg saying that a hummingbird one would probably attract ants up the window so why would anyone do that? lol! which made me talk about how I want a seed feeder on the window to watch the kitties go nuts! I didn't think about the inevitable poopies on the window.. so maybe I'll just get another feeder for the yard and put it NEAR a window!

Just saw your last post on not being able to sign out of your blog; I get signed out every time I clear my cookies, drives me nuts, but maybe a solution for you?
    Also, Katie fang! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE

Leo says: Katie Fang! *fainty* Between your exposed fang and my exposed fangs (mom says underbite like it's too adorable for a boycat..) why don't we get together and rub our cheeks together and see if our fangs will comb each others muzzle furs? *winky winky*

  9. Those are lovely rocks! Our mom bean says decorating and hiding the rocks is a great idea. It must be fun to find one in an unexpected place.

    Have a great Caturday Katie!

  10. Katie, those are meowvolous! Mom says that looks like a super fun thing to do. We have a bazillion rocks in our yard, and she knows she'd have fun doing something like that. She can understand why your mom wanted to keep these two rocks. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  15. Those are really nice. I painted some for the kindness rocks project which is similar, but mine did not come out that nice. I like the idea of gluing things on.XO

  16. My four-year-old niece is currently obsessed with rocks. Every time we go to the park we have to stop and collect a few. And then she goes home and decorates them with crayon.

  18. Katie,

Mom needs to send you an email but she doesn't have your email address. Would you email us at rissakitty2000 @ gmail.com, please?! We put the spaces in the address so those nasty bots can't pick it up. We have some important news for you.

    Thanks bunches!!
