Thinking and Thinking

Kitties,  So many of our furriends have ceased blogging and just post on Face Book.  Something I, Katie,  wouldn't do...no FB page for me.  Mom has charge of her FB, not me.  I miss the furriends that are gone from the CB  either mostly, or altogether.

I seem to be meowing the same old same old about how I have mom under my paw pads (and I DO...most definitely)  and I fink it's getting boring to always have to see my bragging.  So...I'm finking what to do.  Just saying why I only blog a few times a week now.   She is thinking the same for her own bloggie.

She and me...we don't know what we will do.  We are grateful for the sweet kitties and woofies who remain on the CB and  I'm grateful they are my furriends.

  3. Dearest Katie Isabella,
Well, it is also about loyalty Katie... Not everyone thinks about that the same.
But be it less in number; the QUALITY of furry friends is still there!
    Sending you hugs,

  6. I do go on FB but not that much. I look forward to seeing your posts here even though I don't visit anyone as much as I used to. Don't leave!!!

  7. We have a FB page but don't do anything with it. We only post a couple of times a week at most, but that's enough. We hope you continue to post at least a little.

  8. We are not on FaceBorg....Facebook at all! What matters is where you feel comfortable.

  9. Katie, I like Summer's advice. Do what makes you happy. We only post once a week now. It's because the lady finds it very difficult to post and leave comments during the work week. I think some go to FB because it's quicker and easier. No need to write much or visit other blogs. I could be wrong. That's just a guess. I find it's that way with IG. I think I read that some call it "micro blogging." I love your posts and truly hope you stay, but if you stay on social media, we will follow you wherever.

  10. Katie, we don't do FB either, so if someone only posts there, we don't see it. This is our only place on the interwebs.

  11. Our mom bean doesn't post much for us anymore either Katie, and we don't do FB (she does and she does follow some of our furriends). But she will tell you that whether our furriends post lots or just once in awhile, we enjoy hearing what it going on ...even if it seems repetitive. And she says, most of the support of our furriends is the best in sad times as it was when Sami ran for the Bridge. She gets the sads but it makes her feel better knowing so many send their thoughts and purrs.
Keep posting then Katie, as little or as much as you like. We'll be here (though getting mom bean to read sometimes takes a few days)

  12. We know, Katie. It's hard to keep up with everything...blogging, facebook, etc. We prefer blogging, too.

  13. I have not been posting for boys much lately as my work has been so hectic. But I love connecting with friends here and sharing kitty things, etc. I always enjoy coming here (and your mom’s and Admiral san’s pages)!

  15. Katie and Mom... We have seen our visitor stats go from 80 per day a few years ago to 38 lately. People are changing where they visit. We are deciding whether to adapt (if we can) or change our lives.

  18. We don't do FB here. We too have noticed many furiends disappearing and we hear they are popping up on InstaGram and Twitter. We two seniors will be right here. Mom might start
taking a day off here and there so she doesn't get her sciatica all messed up again. As it is she only sits about 30 minutes at a time then moves about. After 4pm she is usually off the puter for they day so she can start supper and then Dad uses the puter after supper.
    Hugs madi your bfff

  19. Katie, please don't stop blogging. I'd miss you too much. I've read your bloggie every day for years, just like I used to read the Admiral's. Of note I only 2 blogs regularly! I've noticed that lately you don't post as often and it saddens me. I don't have my own blog as my assistant is useless, cannot take a decent photo, or even type properly. My cousin has one but he's stopped blogging since his assistant joined FB about 2 yrs ago - I cry foul! Katie, I love your bloggie, please don't stop - head bonk from another Katie

  20. Mom and I subscribe by email to all the bloggies we like. We never count posts or check schedules. When we see a friend slip into our email, we visit if we can. My own bloggie has no schedule, but whenever something pops up that I want to talk about, I just do. Nothing wrong with that, I hope...

  22. Keep meowing about whatever you want, Katie Isabella! It's your blog! We don't post on FB as much as we used to. We used to post there every day way back in 2011-2012 before we started blogging.

  23. Please don’t leave the CB! My mommy says that facebook is just a lot of posts of funny videos, meme’s and never any true relationships. We love your playful banter with other kitties like Spitty and Angel Nellie and other cats and peeps and that makes the CB special. Facebook is not for the strong bonds we develop between cats and their owners here. And I haven’t even really started my blog yet, but I am a frequent commenter and will be a real member soon. Don’t fall for Fakebook. Some people reveal too much and others just post jokes.

  24. Dear Ms Katie Isabella,
I, Marvelous, am new. my Mommy, however is not. She has been online since Opera and Mosaic and Netscape. Mommy worked for a software company and updated their "online newsletter" everyday during the late 90s and then took it to blogger in 99. She had her own website in the late 90s too. Yep, she was on MySpace and Facebook.
She did not have a personal blog until she discovered cat blogs and it was Eric and Flynn that got Mommy thinking that Queen Penelope would like a blog. Because she is so busy, Mommy chooses NOT to Tweet, do Instagram or the other phone based aps. She does Facebook, but that is mostly for family and she is very picky. Yes, we do mis some people who only do FB, but that's OK, there are always new blogging buddies.
Thank you for the lovely get well card. It made Mommy's day!

  25. Katie, you taught me how important tunnels are for you cats to visit each other and now my new kitty Patzy has a tunnel she uses to teleport to her food dish. Soon she will find out she can use it to visit her friends. If all her friends are on Fakebook will she be able to find them or even make new ones? How will she find new besties like you and Angel Nellie were? How will she find new boykitty friends like you have? And bringing your toys all over the house and to bed with you and your mom? She does the same (except she growls at them to stay put, unlike you sweetie).

  26. Sweet Katie, we sure do hope you and Mommy keep on blogging, even if you do so only a few times a week. Do what you want, because we want you to be happy. But we do hope that includes blogging. We would miss you something fierce if you weren't here. We love you both lots. And Angel Admiral, too.
