Fursday and Furiday

Kitties,  it's getting pretty durn chilly in the nights nowadays.   Maybe THAT is why I persist on lying on mom's head and face and certainly her pillow.  She has had to keep me from trimming her tresses too.  I know it's a pain in the neck supposedly to her but hey, I'm here to show her how good I feel.

dezizworld has nominated me to provided three quotes and examples.  I will do that next blog.  Thank you beautiful girls.  Lone Star Cats have done the same and I need to stop meowing around and do it.  I am to challenge three others to the same things.

Mommy has a LOUD thing in the kitchen that I wish she'd left in the store.  It sounds like an L 25 hurricane when she uses it!!  It's a somethingaruther that when turned on makes horrible noise like I said about the hurricane, and then when it stops she starts drinking from it.  Today I saw her add a cuppa milk, a cuppa organic cherries and 3/4 a cuppa ice cubes.  Then her eyes rolled back and she said how good it tasted.

Hey, good tasting is as good tasting does.  A can o' feast ain't near so loud and I certainly don't complain or roll my eyes when I throw it down the hatch!  Um um good ---and quiet!

OH!  And here is me...patiently tolerating a sticky little one right there near MY toys....although the little sticky person has his own toys in a box in MY room! I am such a good girl to snoopervise!

This was mom and Sticky Person's mommy and Sticky too,  just about 3 mi walk

There are two big fishes in here if you biggafy and look closely.  This was on their walkie this meowing.

I am sitting out of reach on momma while Baby James plays.

Your mum has an ice-eating monster machine? An ice-eating monster machine that likes cherries? Sounds kind of noisy and scary to me. Take care, my friend. TAKE CARE.

We don't blame you for sitting out of reach. That little sticky human is cute, but he's still unpredictable. Don't trust him!

Katie this is all so wonderful and we are so happy that your Mom is doing so well and is able to take such good walks with that sweet sticky one! You are a darling dear Katie.

Yes, Katie. You're best staying as far away from the little sticky person until he gets a little bigger and can really appreciate you :)

Why do sticky humans like own toys better than theirs? Just found out that the sticky little human who visits us is getting a sibling. NOOOOES!

Looks like you kept a safe distance from the sticky little one. Good idea! Hope he doesn't decide to play with donkey....

It's getting to be good snuggle weather with the coolness isn't it!! As for the sticky person - he's kinda cute.....I'd keep my distance too though - no sticky fingers will touch my furs!

You are a wise kitty to stay out of the reach of little sticky persons. :-) We think that our Gracie may have started her life in a family with grabby little sticky persons.

Fur Everywhere said...

You have the right idea by curling up against your mom or on her pillow to stay warm. Carmine and Lita have been taking turns using the fleece blanket on the bed to stay nice and warm. :)

Colehaus Cats said...

Isn't curling up on the pillow at night just the best thing ever? And keeping those hairs in check. Yep, we do that too!

Does your mom have a new blender or food processor? Her drink sounds yummy to our biped, just throw in a banana and some raw honey! :-)

Sticky snoopervising is a big job, Katie, but we know you can do it, and do it well!

Austin Towers said...

SHE has no manners!! ;)

Katie, you have the right idea to stay up on Mom when that James is around. He sure is looking big and sturdy!
My Mom just had some sort of drink with strawberries in it, made with a whizzer machine, but I wonder about the healthiness of it because she called it a Dackery.

meowmeowmans said...

We're snuggling more with our humans now that it's cooler at night, too, Katie! :)

Mommy has a blender thing, too? Our mom and dad have one here, and they make smoothies (bananas, nonfat vanilla yogurt, pineapple juice and frozen strawberries) every day. They say it's yummy.

Good job watching that sticky little human. He sure is cute!

Hugs to you and Mommy!

You are a good baby sitter Katie, I am surprised you didn't bring him some toys to play with.

It's good to start training those sticky little critters early. They need to respect cats and open treat bags... So glad you are feeling well, Katie!

holy cat - a sticky one AND a hurricane in your kitchen? Whatever will be NEXT? Our mom pulls out the hurricane during the hot summer months - and proceeds to gross out our dad by putting green stuffs (kale) in with her fruit and yogurt. MOL!

Poor Katie, having to put up with the noise and the sticky one. You are a furry kitty to put up with those goings on.

We is happy to hear you is feeling better!

To answer your question today... the toy was a standard Kickeroo, probably from PetSmart. The tooth that broke off was the one that had the flesh puff up around it last spring. It must have weakened the tooth too. The vet said that loose, brittle teeth are a byproduct of aging. And we certainly hope this doesn't happen to any more innocent kittehs!

Dearest Katie Isabella,
Haha, such great writing about a cat's adventures in her home!
Yes, head-warmers are fun, as long as they don't tease our hair and give us acupuncture during the night!
Sticky baby is fun to watch from a safe distance.
Sending you hugs and stay warm.
