Gracie is having urinary problems. She is spending the night at the veterinary clinic so they can get a urine sample. We will know more tomorrow. Please keep your fingers/paws crossed for her.
Gracie is home now and she does not have an infection. However, she was forming crystals in her urine, Crystalluria. We got some Royal Canin Urinary SO cat food from the veterinary clinic. Gracie seems to be feeling fine. She did scold us for a while :-) We set out a small bowl of the new food to see what would happen, and Millie was the first one to try it. She seems to like it! Gracie eventually had a good helping of the food. Because of the difficulties involved in trying to feed different things to two cats, we may have to simply feed both Gracie and Millie the urinary cat food, even though it costs more. Both cats are now in their "extended afternoon nap" mode.
The kitties' regular vet was not available, so the younger vet who bought the practice a few years ago saw Gracie. We were very favorably impressed with him, so when our regular vet retires, as we expect him to do before long, we will not hesitate to bring Gracie to the vet who saw her for the urinary problem.
Tuxie Tuesday, huh? Lucky. You have your very own day. SWEET. Wish they had a marmalade day. Oohhh... MARMALADE MONDAY! I should start that, for sure!!!
Hi Katie! Nope, no e-mail. Did you use my bellaliant . net e-mail? I 'think' Google might have given me an e-mail address, too, but for the life of me, I don't know what it is. purrs
