Caturday

Oh my.  Mom was wondering how I can hork up some kibble but the horribly expensive Royal Canin wet fuds stayed in!  How in the world did I do that?  TWICE, one time immediately following the other.  I DO choose the most inconvenient places to do that as often as possible. Usually under and in a forest of chair legs.  Behind furniture is also excellent as is on the polished wood of the window sill or coffee table.  Best time to do that is when she is gone or in bed.  Then, the finish comes off the wooden surfaces.

Mom said I am not drinking enough and my potty is not indicating these last 36 hrs. that I am doing much of anything in it.  I do have two water bowls.  There is no where to plug in a fountain unfortunately without stretching an electrical cord across the floors.   I think she will save going around the bend this time for more non compliance with potty rules.  Of course these things happen on the weekend.  We will see.

Oh my goodness Katie...you need to drink water! Maybe your Mom should put a second water bowl out for you someplace where water spillage won't be a problem.

Yes sweet Katie, that water is darn impawtant so have a drink for me!

Katie, if you are eating some canned food, you are getting some fluids in that. Two water bowls should be enough. Guess you just aren't thirsty. Hope you and the Mom have a great day.

Katie if you get wet foods tell you Mom to add a little water and make more gravy. Mom says I am not a big fan of drinking water but I love lapping up the gravy in from my food.

Katie we don't drink very much but we eat food that comes in pouches and has gravy (or sauce) in which makes us hydrated. We do also have water bowls dotted about and when it's hot we do have little drinks from them. Mum bought us a fountain but we wouldn't use it so she sent it to a cat rescue. Please try to drink more or you could damage your kidneys.

Mommy sees each of us drink at least once a day. I hope you'll drink a little so your Mommy doesn't worry too much, Katie.

Some kitties don't drink as much water as other kitties. That's why canned food is so important for us! Adding water to the food is a great idea.

Niko doesn't drink much water, either. Still, you get water from your wet food, which is good :-)
Have a lovely weekend, Katie san!

When I get wet food mommy always makes it soupy with extra water. Yum!

Katie, are you giving your mom a run for her money in the sanity department? ;-)

Faraday heartily approves!

Water's GOOD for you - just think of all the additional trouble you can get into, playing with the water while you drink it. Is that motivation enough???

Miss Katie,
I used to drink little till I got trouble with my pee...COD ! That was a tough time for me till I end up having only one food to eat Royal Canin Urinary SO. To make me thirsty and drink enough. I hope you won't end up like me...so drink !!!
Myself, I don't have water fountain, but I have 4 bowls of water. Mom will keep change it because I always drop my fur there. And I love water come from the jug ( room temperature ).
Keep drinking , sweet heart

Katie, you sure worries your mom. We thinks you should drink some more water but the idea of putting water in your wet fuds would probably be a good one too.

Replace her water with beer/wine, it worked for Star (just kidding). Lol. ;-)

Katie, you need to drink your water. We have already seen this suggestion above but our mama does it too, she mixes extra water with our canned food.

Take good care of yourself pretty girl and stay hydrated.

We drink a lot less -- hardly at all -- since we kicked the kibble habit and eat only canned. Like Sparkle said, your Mom can add a little extra water to your canned food to get it into you, though that means you have to keep it down.

I like water. :)

Katie, maybe your mom could add some water to your foods. That's what our mom does...even our dry foods. Just a tablespoon or so. It might help!

BeadedTail said...

Oh noes Katie! We hope you drink enough water! It's good your mom keeps an eye on you though!

All my vets have assured TW that cats get enough water from wet food but you have to get more than one 3-oz can a day. They say that cats know when they need water. Hope you are OK.

Sometimes when the Human thinks I am not peeing often enough (what? Is there some kind of schedule I don't know about or something??) she adds a little water to my canned foods and I guess I slurp it up without even knowing. If she's worried, maybe your mommy could do that--just a few teaspoons.

Hugs to you and Mommy!

Oh, sweet Katie we are sorry you are not drinking water and potting enough. Please drink water sweetie that is very important. Hugs and nose kisses

Drinking water is very important, though cats usually don't drink as much as dogs do. I agree, tuna water is a good supplement. If there is any question, Mom will talk to the VET, I am sure. ~xoxo~

We vote for the tuna water too. Miss Katie you need to get down and do your business, ok? Xoxoxox

We all likes water and drinks lots. And we also like to hork up the foodables in the most inconvenient places. Mom went to dry her hands in the bathroom yesterday, and it was a good thing she looked at the hand towel before she picked it up. Some kitty horked up all over it. Hope you get to feeling better.
