I don't think I saw any convicts as I was in the bed all night without cease! I sent mom from one side of the bed to the other side..all the way over. My m.o. is to start from the veriest edge on her side and as she turns, I slide into that place she was. The warmth is wonderful. Then, as she turns again later, I slide on into THAT spot as well. Sometime about 4, my job is done. I have her chased all the way over. This morning she gave up at 5 and got up..rising from the other side of the bed. Me...I was diagonal, left of the center of the bed occupying all space. My back toesies had been resting against her chest and my head was pointed at an angle, away. Mom said she is gonna get tuff-- whatever that means. Oh..she just explained to me as I finished dictating that sentence. She said that she is going to DISTURB me from now on! She claims the lack of sleep has her eyes burning all of the time. Well, *I* don't like having to sleep with a rotisserie!!! What about ME??
She said I could sleep in a bunch of places but for some reason I want to be in close contact with my mom. Not sure why. Oh well.
Here I am relaxing in the living room several days ago. I rule.

A dear Twitter furriend, @Dylcat sent me a precious card and a pink mouse for my Gotcha Day. I truly love that mouse and here is a picture or two of me with it. One is when I was trying to get it out from being whapped under the sofa!

We hope you manage to sweep your pink mousie out from under the sofa. We think you'll be able to keep your Mum under control so she won't disturb you at night by complaining.

Considering that your Mom takes care of you, it seems only fair that you should let her get a decent night's sleep. What if she became too tired to fill your food bowl? Huh? :-)
We is so sorry we weren't able to make your Gotcha pawty. :( The mom messed up the puter and then got sick so we haven't been able to visit.

We only get to sleep with Mommy when Daddy is away. She kicks ME out of the room after a few minutes because I refuse to sleep and would run and jump all over the place. :p

Katie, this is why Mommy and Daddy sleep separately...Mommy is as bad as YOU! One time Daddy woke up, kneeling by the bed cos' Mommy had pushed him ALL the way out!

Me, Nellie, likes to keeps my Mommy up all night. Me tries to sleep with my face at her neck, so me can kiss her when she is sleeping. And when me kisses, mes likes my claws to comes in and out. If mommy tries to moves me, me sinks the claws in! If she rolls over - trying to keeps me between her and Daddy, me ALWAYS moves to where her neck is! If any of the other cats (mostly Jo-Jo) comes on the bed, me sticks my claws into Mommy and MEROWS!

Whoa! Way to go Katie! I can’t do that with TW cos I have my pillow and she has hers. Something is wrong cos her side of the bed is getting bigger. She claims she has to be ore in the middle cos it’s warmer.
Taking over the bed is pawsome, Katie. Way to go (though we kind of feel bad for your mommy ... we're kind of "soft" that way).

You know what, Katie darling?? You play JUST LIKE ME! The first thing I do with toys I love is bat them under something and then strive mightily to coax them out again. Sometimes I succeed, often I do not, but I still play that over and over, depending on how often the Human does a search and rescue for me. XOXOXOX
Well I for one am too scared I'll get squished so I stear clear of any prolonged bed sleeping. Waffles on the other paw, well he lives and sleeps on the wild side.

Katie, you are very lucky to be an only cat. At our house, at least five or six of us are wrestling for bed space each night. The humans are so inconsiderate and demand some space for themselves, but we do our best to make sure they have to turn themselves into pretzels to find enough space. I think you & Maggie P. have similar sleeping habits! It certainly sounds like it. Chloe Jo literally catnaps, so she is up and down all day and night. She likes to spend part of her night sleeping next to Stella. When Stella has enough she goes and get into her own little bed. Sometimes Chloe Jo follows. They like to touch, cuddle, and yes, the warmth. ~xo~
