Kitties, I didn't pee or poo yesterday either. Mom gave me an additional bowl in the middle of the hallway where I was resting and I had a long drink close to 11 last night.
I have been eating every morning and night and mom saw me drinking a few times as always. I have been playing and very loving but I have slept a bit more than usual. For certain reasons, mom won't be able to do much in the way of going back and forth to the Vet after today, so she called and got me an appointment. I am typing this from my iPawd in a cage but still in my carrier (it's my safe place) and I am mad. They are going to make me sleepy and give me an enema because the vet said I am constipated. I have to stay till I have a BM or I will maybe have multiple accidents over the house if I came home right away. Also, while I am asleep they will take a pee sample. JUST in case.
Mommy had to come home without me and I KNOW for a fact SHE has a sad right along with me.
I can't come home till mid afternoon.

Miss Katie, perhaps your hairballs have been traveling "through" (as opposed to you horking) and you've gotten a bit stopped up from that. We are purraying that all comes OUT okay, and that you're back home, clean as a whistle, ASAP.

Miss Katie Mom used to get all upset at me for not pooing and there were times she took me to the Vet because of it. She eventually started giving me slippery elm and pumpkin (Just a tsp)mixed down in my food. I never had any more problems after that. It kept me running like a timing wheel! We know your Mom is worried and we hope you are home now.

Oh i'm sorry you're not feeling well Katie! And i'm certain too that your Mom was sad you weren't there with her. But you needed to.see your vet, as NOT fun as that is. I hope it makes you better!
katie...abby bee rite...sum pumpkin helpz kleen de pipez, knot ta menshun it makes a grate pie.....( but make sure ewe get PUREE pumpkin, even tho pie fillin pumpkin is grate) ...plus de left overs can bee putted inta a ice cube tray N freezed sew yur mom can pick a cube out N thaw it for later....
Oh no, Katie! You know, Zoey has poo problems, too. The mom adds a little miralax in her foods along with water to keep things moving along...and no dry food for Zoey anymore either...only canned. And just recently the mom began adding a probiotic to her foods. Zoey still doesn't poo everyday...but at least she's going more than once a week like she used to do.

Dear Katie, Sunny here....., So Sorry 'bout you lack ov poopie problem ^..^ since in my later yearz da mom haz become profishunt in makin me poop. Here iz de recipe 1 teaspoon ov pumpkin (da mom jus usez canned) and 1/4 teaspoon ov Miralax. da mom mixez it all in wif sum stinky Goodness and WALA!! da V E T said de Miralax iz safe I can get up to 1/4 teaspoon 2x a day if need be...., da V E T said da wurs dat will happen iz I will get loose...... den jus back off de Miralax a bit ^.,^ Efen Gabriel & Larry getz dis treatment on accounta de long hair. Aw, sweet darling! My Human gived some of her kitties pumpkin and they LOVED it! It really ehlps with keeping a kitty regular, if you know what I mean and I think you do. I am so sorry you had to stay at the stabby place for awhile but your poor Mommy probably does not want poo bits all over the house--even those who love us like crazy have to draw the line SOMEplace and for most of them, this is the place!

Oh Dear Katie....I do hope that you can do the poop thing and get to come home quickly. It's no fun being at the vet place I know, but they are just trying to help you after all. Be brave dear girl, and I'm sure once you're back on track with potty matters that you'll be just FINE!

Oh my, how stressful. Purrs for a quick poop so you can come home. Humans are so silly, they get so excited at the sight of poop - what a life. But whatever, I hope you please the humans and gift them with marvelous logs. Meanwhile, we prays and purrs for you and your human.
