You are getting sleepy....you are headed toward the treat bag....you are going to give me brushies.....
Kitties, I have a sun spot on my forehead. Reminds mom of an old 70's song about "sunshine on my shoulder makes me happy" This sunshine made ME happies.
One other thing before I go. Mom was shaking out the area rugs in the kitchen and had left me assisting with bed linen changing in the bedroom. Well, as she turned to put the rugs up on the washing machine she heard the exact sound I make, a little chirrup, on the way out of the door. She dropped the rugs and saw the storm door was still making its way closed. She knew I had shot out of it and into the (very) cold out doors and into the busy street. I am an indoor girl, never outside so that was frightening to mom. She ran outside in her bare feets but no me. Then she flew back in, down the hall at Olympic speed and found me residing in comfort on the clean sheets that I had helped to put on. WHEW!!!!!! That sound was from the kitchen's storm door door closing as it turns out. It is just unfortunate that it created that replica of a kitty chirrup. Poor mom. Lost one of her lives (if she has any left that is).

That was an unpleasant experience for mommy. I am glad you didn't go outside into the cold Miss Katie. xx
I bet that did terrify your Mom Katie. Glad it wasn't you going through the door. Bet she is lying down right now from that trama. Hope the rest of the day is better. Take care.

Oh NO! I can see why your Mom would be scared if you ever decided to get out. And the fact she was in her bare feeties---that's a SURE sign of lovin' she has for you!!
Oh, your poor Mom! That must have scared her quite a bit. Did you give her a treat to calm her nerves? :)
I'm glad you didn't decide to leave!

Oh Katie, that was a funny trick you played on your mom!
That would be VERY scary for a kitty mom. Glad you were safe indoors!
YIKES!!! Mommy nearly died of fright just reading about your non-going-outside adventure.
How nice of you to help with the sheets rather than head outdoors! Such a good helper! Mom, take it easy, now.:)
Wow, we would have loved ta see the Moms face as she ran out barefoot! And you were warm inside!
YIKES - how scary for your mom,. M was scared just thinking about it. Oh Katie, you have to promise me that you will never go outside on you own - even tho you didn't do it thisz time, it's scary out there.
Oh Katie! You scared your Mummy right out of her wits! I'll bet her heart went up in her throat. I felt that way last year when a plumber was working in our kitchen, and one of our kitties, Otis, got out to the backyard. Luckily it's fenced, but i still don't like him to be out there! He's strictly an indoor kitty after all. It only took me a few seconds to find him.. but Whew! Was i relieved!!
Boy you know how to keep you mom on her toes!!!!

I'm sure glad it was a door chirrup and not you! Your poor mom!
That must have been a terrible scare for your Mom! We had a scare like that once.
That was a very big scare for your mom Katie. We are glad it was a false alarm.
How horrible for your mom! Bet she was SO happy to see that you were safely inside.
HAH! Our peeps are always imagining things.
I glad ur Mom was okay and u were too. :)
Katie, we bet you laughed just a little bit when you saw your mom running outside...thinking you were out there!
We don't like it Out There, so we don't run for the door like some kitties, but still the mom is careful around the door. Your poor mom! But then, she loves she so, so we're sure she didn't mind the cold feet.
Things like that happening are probably one of the reasons my human has to dye her hair, MOL!
Your poor mom. What a scare.
Katie,
Did yous giggle (just a little bit?)
Me would has!

Oh Poor, Poor Mommy. A similar thing happened here several years ago and my Human was wandering up and down the busy street looking frantically under parked cars. Ha ha ha--I was inside, hiding in the back porch the whole time! I laffed some, but then I did feel kinda sorry for her. These Humans sure do get all worked up, don't they? You look very beauteous with your sunspot ;-) I will pick you up at dawn for a quick spin in the Furrari--listen for the horn that plays The Stray Cat Strut.
I had a similar moment this weekend... The washing machine was on and the sound it made reminded me of Alex having a hairball... thought I was losing my mind...
Oh, I know that feeling! Your stomach goes up to heart and panic sets in. We're so glad you were safe in the bedroom, sweetie!
Oh my gosh, Katie san! It must have been really scary monent for your mon! Glad you are safe!
I sent a star award back to you. Have a wonderful week!
