I got my allowance Sunday and now, I have 6 green papers in my piggy bank. Mom gave me my allowance even though I wasn't a terribly good girl. I was an O.K. girl. An example: I played the mini blinds the night before last. My performance was thus far unmatched by prior performances. This last one was complete with an encore. My brother bean is here as of last evening and stayed as he has an appointment to keep here in town--- and he caved and just left both window's blinds up. The thing to do is get into his pj's elsewhere and then go into his bedroom so no one sees from outside. I am a demanding girl cat.

I have my human trained that as soon as I jump on the window sill in the morning, she opens the blinds for me. BTW, make sure your human cleans your toy basket regularly. TW didn't and my basket got overrun by moths, who feasted on my toys. The result being that TW had to throw everything in it out. I am now a kitty with few toys.
Either Gracie & Millie are very kind or they do not realize that they can play the mini-blinds. :-) Realistically, though, only one window ever provides good access to the mini-blinds. I'll bet that the Admiral gave your Mom the hint to use the basket for your toys.
So great that you gave your humans such a concert with the mini blinds. We like your toy basket and think it is great fun that you stand in it with your toys. We don't care for toys enough to do something like that, so you are clearly and extra special kitty (which we already knew!).

We have the wide blinds and you would think they aren't as fragile as the minis but Casper has played with the blinds in the dining so much we need to buy new ones!!!!

What a cheeky girl you are, Katie! Mommy used to put our toys in a basket too. But when we got the cat tree, she stuffed all the toys in the attached condo to encourage us to climb in.
It looks to me like that basket could use a few more toys in it!

Hmmm, OUR toys are just dumped inna old shoe box an a bloo styrofoam thing. We want a NICER box! An we know JUST where a nice-lookin woven basket (like YOUR pretty one) is inna closet...

Hee an allowance even when you are only OK. Our Moms are the same even when on my not best behavior I still sometimes get treats just because I'm cute. That is a very treasured basket that you made into your toy basket.

That is a good idea to keep your toys in Admiral's basket. Our cat tree has a mancave in the bottom but we don't use it, so our toys live in there.

Your allowance is your Cod-given right, Katie. Your Mommy cant go around putting conditions on it, willy nilly. If she doesn't want you to play the blinds, then she should get curtains instead.
