Anyway, it has just been me and mom. And while mom thought I was going to be upset...I have been asleep most of the day. I flung myself on mom's bed and except for eating and a brief stay in her lap for snuggles mid afternoon the bed on my red blankie is where I have stayed. I have been sleeping with mom again at night for the past two nights too.
Mom has collected three of my long white whiskers so far. They came off on my knitted blankie and were easy for mom to see. If they fall off anywhere else, mom will never see them because the carpet is very light.
We have broken a heat record again. 106 degrees f. I say again how lucky I am that I am in the house with food and water whenever I ask for it. Here I am dressed for Australia because it's so hot..I think I must have accidentally teleported there.
I have been around to most who have come to see me in the past 12 hours. I hope #1 will accept my mom's friendship in FB. She doesn't know mom's name though and I myself don't have a FB account because they were so mean to other kitties who had an account a year or so ago.

Wes had too much company for my tastes. All the strange people in my house, and us sleeping in Mommy's office (because Mommy's room had guests) me just was a little perturbed.

We're glad you had a nice visit with family and are resting up now from all the excitement! Your mom doesn't look old enough to have a 17 year old grandson. So far FB has left our account alone even though it's not in a real name.

TBT has a pretty glas jar of cat whiskers. They start with Skeeter and LC, but there are many of OURS there too. There's a trick to finding them TBT says. Look on the blankies, the cat trees, mats, and the little bathroom rugs. Fer some reason, we lose a lot of them there though we are hardly ever seen there.
Ta REALLY find our whiskers, TBT gets down on his paws (well "hands an knees to him") an walks cat-like across the floors before he uses the sucky machine.
He figures the sucky machine gets more than he does, but its always worth a look...

G'day, Katie! You look quite dashing in that photo! Don't worry, there will be more visits in the future from various members of your human family. Your comment about FaceBook being mean to kitties is one of the reasons Ron & I will never be on that site. Concerns about safety & privacy are another. For the past few years, we have seldom seen any cats outisde other than the late Cat from next door. I guess there aren't really any other cats around to use the Cat Memorial Water Pan, but the birds do use it.
