Mom put three dollars into my piggy bank today on accounta she's making the beginning of this month to be the start of my allowance, so I got three allowances today instead of just one. I'm going to put my piggy bank in my room here with my cat tree and my other Katie toys. Don't you think that's a good idea? I can keep an eye on it in case some mousie tries to take it.
Speaking of mousie, mom got down on her side..just about dislocated her shoulder trying to be flat enough to see under a heavy piece of furniture and that tiny viewing place she had at her disposal..she held a pen light with her toofies and tried under the furniture in the blackness of space! to see my most favorite mousie in the whole world under the unmovable piece of furniture. She had a long stick and finally was able to inch it forward until she could get it. It took a hundred YEARS she swears, to get it out. I whap that mouse under that same piece of furniture over and OVER!

That is a neat bank. My hooman has one like it. :) Ur Mom is brave to go find the mousie. Now u can whap it some more, like this: whap whap whap. :)
That is AWESOME that your human goes to all that effort to get your favorite mousie... only for you to knock it under there once again!
That allowance is such a good idea especially to use it for a kitty that really needs it.
Now, if our Mom got down on the floor, it would take a gang of people to get her up. Now, an idea. Maybe your person could block the space under that unmovable furniture so maybe that mouse wouldn't be pushed under it. Happy Memorial day. Take care.

Katie, I think your mommy has a good idea with the allowance. (of course, my dear, we should find you a bank that looks like a kitty not a piggy.)What if every pet person did that. Just think of how many "dirty green pieces of paper" would be in the community kitty for helping others. Mr. Bruce and I don't have a furry friend at our house but I'll start a "Pet bank" too.
What a clever way to make your Mom take some exercise Katie while you get some fun target practice. We've never been given an allowance and we are going to sign our very own petition and let her know she's mean.

Pee Ess - Our ham-micks have never turned over steppin on or off of them. Princeton only turned one over once by TRYING to crawl under it! (cod luf him) You will LOVE one!
Thank goodness your mummy was able to get that valuable mouse out from under that big ol' piece of furniture. Yeah for moms! And you've got yourself a piggy bank! And YOURS is actually a piggy... unlike mine... which is a frog. MOUSES! AND you're gettin' an allowance, too. Lucky you! We think your piggy bank idea is great! Mommy spends ten dollars every month for cat stuff that she will donate at the end of the year.

I think the piggy bank is a great idea! You reminded me that it is time for me to look under the couch or coffee table for toys. :-) I usually do it because of Ron's back problems.

We think the allowance is a pawsome idea! We'll have to figure out how come we don't have one. We love whapping toys under furniture and closet doors and we think mommy likes the exercise to get it out!
