A New Angel

 Dear Kitties and Woofies, and Parents

You may not know this blogger, but she comments on quite a few of our blogs in the CB.  Her name is Mariette.  She has five kitties but one loved one, Dido, passed last night and Mariette is saddened beyond telling as the rest of us are too, when our babies leave us.

 He was sixteen years old, plus some months.  His momma has his story in her blog.  He looks like a black Panther in this photo.

Mom actually had to look at this a minute or two before she "got it". She didn't see the main attraction. When we are well and truly trapped she said as it dawned on her that a cat was in residence there on a lap.

Donkey Still Protests

 Donkey feels he was treated unfairly.  I simply took him to see his possible swimming pool.  He irritated me by hiding on the floor between the oak chest and the end of the bed.  It caused both me and Mom great worry.  We thought he had been kidnapped by Happy Jr., or perhaps Google Eyes.  I shall have to introduce him.  He looks menacing.  I would expect a kidnap outta HIM.

Don't let Happy Jr.'s happy-go-lucky (had to say that) face take you in!  He is meaner than a striped snake!  

Now, the Stuffie Mafia ringleader around here is Google Eyes. He has several that he has drafted into his posse to keep Donkey's family in line. I may have to engage the Texas Rangers against him.  

Only I, Katie,  can control Google Eye!

Donkey Tragedy in the Making!

 KITTIES!  Look what I did in the night.  Mom heard me blaring about it at just before 0300.  I was just kidding!  Just kidding!  I told Donkey the consequences of being naughty, I was going to give him a solid dunking!  and I  decided to just show the pool to him  Not do it...just show.  Now, these are for Donkey's lawyer's file against me, but..um...there may be a conflict of interest!

Sunpuddle Day See Link Just Added

 Kitties!  There is sun again today.  I will find so many sunpuddles throughout the day!  That really makes me happy. 

I did get to the v-e-t the other day. Mom played some beautiful cat music for me.  She didn't think it would work but it did.  Within five or so minutes, I came out from behind the close-fitting space where my tree is.  I came right to her knee and listened.  I stayed calm and after a few minutes, Mom rose from the office chair, picked me up, and put me right into my PTU.  She carried me into the kitchen, got herself ready, and off we went.  I never say anything coming or going.  During, yes; but not coming or going. 

Mom is going to accomplish a shampoo in a few minutes.  (with a bit of nervousness) as her eyes aren't completely better yet.  But she asked her eye doctor v-e-t if she could shampoo and not worry about her eyes- and he said yes.  That'll sure save green papers as she had to go to the salon and have it done there. I'm sure glad I'm not human.  I can easily shampoo myself and not worry!  Sheesh! 

Well...she wants to get cracking so I guess that means I have to turn her loose.  Sunpuddle over here...I'm SO in it.

 Kitties, I hope what I think won't happen.  Mom's all sweetie pie and brushed me wonderfully.  Gave me too many treats and we are both here in my room.  In a few...(she's taking a chance waiting) she will close my door which will tell me all I need to know.  She wants to keep me out from under my bed haunts in the bedrooms, making it impossible to take me to the v-e-t.  The beds are heavy HEAVY oak.  She can't shift them around the way she used to,  More laborious.  Do-able but slow as iceberg traveling.  

It's up to 39 now...so it'll be 42 or something by the time we leave.  Mom has her coat out but no shoes on.  Her doesn't wear shoes in the house.  Sure keeps my light carpet looking better! 

She just shut the door but guess what.  I finally learned to go under the desk.  !!!!!!! Oak.
