Wet!

 Kitties, my whole house has had its carpet cleaned.  And boy, is it wet or what!

Surprise Surprise!

 Kitties!  Woofies, look what mom and I got yesterday.  Mom's niece Arlene, by  mom's (former) marriage was thinking of Mom and sent it.  💗 We did not know it was coming, and we were so surprised when we opened it.  Pink Kitties!  And they will be alight at night as there is a solar panel above them.  When someone taller than mom comes, her would like that to be more secure.  Her am a sawed off stump, so it was not the best when her got on a 3 step stool to attach it to the overhang, as she was still just short...*snort, heeeee* when she climbed up  to attach it.  Biiiiiiigggg stretch. 

Tonight they should be visible as it is very sunny.  

Tomorrow the carpet cleaners come.  Oh my.  Mommy is worried about me. Hope they don't suck me up in their machines.   Mommy said this'll be worth every cent...and trust me, it's a LOT of cents!

Feline Friday

 I'm a feline (and how!) and it's Friday!  So here I am in yesterday's sunpuddle glory, baking to a turn (I did turn right after) and ready for smooching.  I'm always ready for those.  

In the morning when I get Mom up, she always leans over and smooches me between my earsies.  I wait for it...expect it and lower my head a bit in anticipation. As soon as I get my good morning kissie, I will turn and jump off the bed.  Oh.  I should have said I will turn and go to the end of the bed, step onto my steps and walk down to the floor.

Mom called the carpet cleaners and she and I will have wet feet for at least three days.  That's how long ot takes to get the carpet dry.  But boy, it needs cleaning so much.  Me and all my horking, spills and stains for family while here..it's getting embarrassing she said. Getting, Mom?  It IS embarrassing.

 Here I am.  Other favorite Brother from NC was here and sneaked up on me to take this picture while I settled on mom's side of the bed...which was hardly flattering to me!  He will pay for that next time he comes to see me.  (If I remember).

She thought you might enjoy it.  Mom did not know of anyone who blogged then,  what....14 years ago from her frst post. And she never heard of the CB.  That took a long time.  A few people happened on her and eventually someone said CB.  Mom looked it up and voila!  New furriends!

Out of the Deeps

 Kitties!  Mom moved my toy basket from the corner in my room to along the wall.  You might have thought there was a new basket of toys!  I took all but maybe 6 or so, out and they occupied my whole floor.  I brought some into the living room too, to keep Donkey and Mousies and Duckies company as well.   But look who I unearthed! 

 I haven't seen him for a long time because he was on the bottom of everyone else!  But I brought him out and re-introduced him to the rest of the family- and he has never flown so high or so far, since.   I have flung him halfway across the room Kitties! And showed my pantaloons and my back pink and black toe pads by SCAMPERING and hopping across the room AFTER him...retrieving him, and flinging him across the room again.   I put him IN the bed that night!  IN it.  With Mom and me.  MOm said that scampering was a tonic to her.  MY scampering, not hers...she quit scampering recently but I bet she will start again. You oughtta see her when she does! (she said "no")!
