This'n'That

Kitties, Mom is freezing.  She is trying to save a dime, and it isn't worth it.  If *I* was here, none of that would happen.  She was especially conscious of my comfort.  No lower temps than I could stand.  She just put on a heavy flannel men's shirt.  I think she wrasseled  it offen some poor man somewhere!  Sounds like her! In any case she was warm.

Here is my remodeled space on her dresser.  I'm on top of my place and the white kitty is our Guardian.

All our other babies are buried in the yard  with full honors and funerals.  In their favorite places.  They were indoor-outdoor.  Robin was the last one to be.  From Admiral on, inside only.

Me and Leopard

Oh, that blue thing is a pain in the neck for me.  Mom's wrist brace (she has carpal tunnel)

Katie, we gotz da furnace runnin' up here a lot fur a few weeks. When we had da sun this past week, I laid in it a lot and da house got warm. Da hurricane came up here with 1 inch of rain and now cold agin. You have a furry special place of honor on da cabinet. Lotz like Dr. Bellen's cabinet. You and Leopard shared a special place on da bed and in da heart.

It's cold here, too, today: it snowed, for the first time this season. Katie, your mum saw yesterday how my departed cats are accommodated in the Cosy Cabin. It's good for us humans to have them where they would want to be.

Your memorial area is beautiful. I haven't turned the furnace on yet! With Dad I had to keep it warmer in here than I'd like, but now I plan to tough it out as long as possible. Mudpie and I have plenty of blankies and each other to keep warm.

Your final resting place is very lovely, Katie. All but three of our angels are buried in the garden, as our humans have lived in the same house since they got their very first kitty, Skooter. Two woofies are also in the yard. Many of the first Kitties Blue were also inside/outside cats. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid & Sawyer, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

We sure hope Mom doesn't plan to keep on with the flannel through all the colder months, Katie! Your special place on the dresser is just perfect. And we loved seeing you and Leopard today. XO

It's been chilly and rainy here too but I'm keeping Mom warm by sticking close to her - there's a lot of me to keep her warm - Mom says I'm like a giant-sized heater!

It sounds like you need to send her another kitty to keep her warm!

Flannel is very comforting this time of year, as is fleece.

You have a beautiful place.

We had to get our furnace replaced. ~sigh~ But at least it happened when temperatures were mild as can be. Hugs, my dear.

Ya know what...as I read this post, I realize that I don't have any flannel.
How can that be, when I live in Michigan?!?
Putting it at the top of my shopping list.

The hurricane went farther west than expected, so didn't affect our temps much; but cooler weather is coming! Hope your Mom stays warm, Katie! Lovely to see you with Leopard today!
